Don’t you think it’s high time for a summer vacation? The sun is bright as can be, the schools have been let out, and freedom’s break is right around the corner! But don’t do it alone, do it with this group event! Yes, organized by the face behind Cosmcther, a fun trip to that Pianta-filled island is absolutely in order! Bum it on the beach, head over to the amusement park and ride the merry-go-rounds and roller coasters until you can’t stand, or eat to your heart’s (and stomach’s) content! Plus, like the intro said, all of this and more await you on Isle Delfino!

Heya, first of all? Glad you’re interested in this event, I hope it’ll be a good one. Under here is for the stuff you gotta know for it. So at the top of the list, the situation. It will be a partially paid-for trip to Isle Delfino. The flyover is covered, along with being given a pre-paid pass to Pinna Park. Ride all the rides as much as you like! Just expect lines... Bedding in Hotel Delfino will also be paid for, along with breakfast, lunch, and dinner in there. But that’s just the basic hotel food. For the good stuff, you’ll have to head out to the rest of the island. And for that, money!
Each will be given the Isle equivalence of five-hundred dollars for the entirety of the trip to spend. Be it food, merchandise, extra side events like jet-skiing, Blooper surfing, island tours...that’s coming out of your own wallet! Also, if you have your own money, feel free to bring it. The five hundred is on the Mansion, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bring your own. Hit the beach, surf, sunbathe, meet the locals, eat, see the sights, climb a mountain. You do whatever you want for the week you’re there!
Yes, the event in-universe will be lasting a week, while the time of its happening in real-time will be a little over two weeks. This event is going to be taking off on the 21st of June. That’s right, June 21st. A Friday, roughly two weeks away. And is ending the 6th of July. Until its start, you can write your muse getting ready for the event. Pack your bags, make a plan, and get your friends together for when it’s time to go nuts!
The last thing to mention is that there will be a side blog made to post instant news and prompts every now and again, sort of to stoke the flames and make sure the event doesn’t die down. It’s up to you to have fun with this event, but things to do will be made known for your muse to check out. Be it a new ride made over at the amusement park, or a special sale at Delfino Plaza. Things to keep it fresh and moving! This blog will be made sometime next week, and I’ll post when it’s up and ready to follow! I would recommend following the blog for all sorts of news on the event.
Now, the rules. This event is for the Super Smash Bros. RPC! But if you have so much as a verse for the game, you’re fine. Whether you take a large part in the rpc or not, you’re welcomed in this trip! You do not have to be mutuals with cosmcther! Nah, this event is broad enough to where I don’t gotta be following everyone who’s taking part. You have your fun! Threads started during this event can continue after the event is over! The time limit is just for when new stuff will cease to be posted, and when the event is canonically over. If you’ve got threads that you’re enjoying, please, keep it going! It makes me thrilled that you’re still having fun with this idea! Last but not least, try and remember to tag anything that’s happening with this event with #delfino-event so that I can see everyone’s interactions! I definitely wanna read them.

“Oh, I didn’t see this until the plane ride back home. Sorry.”
“Anyway...it was really nice. We didn’t really have any troubles the whole week. The food was pretty good. Penny wanted to spend a lot of time at Pinna Park- not really my thing, but she was having fun on the rides, which is what mattered. We took some time to just see the sights on the island, too.”
“I was really excited about the hotel we were staying at, though. Apparently it used to be haunted pretty badly, and even the beach it was built on was said to have these ghostly manta rays swim around sometimes. But apparently they’d all been cleared out a while back. Disappointing. The beach was really pretty though. Penny and I just sat on it one evening and watched the sun set together.”
After acquiring their new nifty sunhat, Mewtwo promptly goes and sets up on the beach. Hammock, shades and a cold drink levitating in front of their face. Times like these were perfect for psychic abilities.
Bout time they got a break, all those annoying trainers were getting on their nerves.
naturally of course, the tactician is well prepared for today’s events--- already packed and ready to go whenever necessary. best to assume the case was the same with morgan, so he had all the time in the world to mess around before then.

It wasn’t uncommon for Peach and Zelda to hang out. Recently they had been simply relaxing, drinking tea, whatever else. The suddenness of this comment, however brought Peach some concern. On another nice day, Peach and Zelda were sharing a picnic outside the Smash Mansion, and everything had been peaceful...
...Up until Zelda said that. Taking a sip from her teacup, the pink princess ponders what the Hyrulian princess could have meant by that. It was also worth noting that Zelda’s voice was laced with... possibly sadness, or even jealousy.
❝Oh, that’s very nice of you Zelda! But... why are you saying it like that? You sound rather sad...❞ Peach comments, tilting her head with curiosity. ❝Is something wrong, dear? It sounds like you’ve got a lot on your mind.❞
Peach could see Zelda’s head lower, her eyes not meeting Peach’s. Peach considered herself pretty good at reading people, she could tell when something was up. And judging by Zelda’s sudden sad ( or envious ) sounding comment and her body language she was presenting, something was obviously up with her. Sympathy swelled up within the Mushroom Kingdom’s princess. ❝Zelda, do you want to tell me what’s bothering you?❞
Zelda snapped her head up.
❝O-oh! Nothing at all! I’m fine...! Thank you for asking, Peach.❞
Peach doubted the sincerity of that comment, but before she could say anything more, the other blonde continues. ❝I just wanted to wish you a pleasant trip! You ARE leaving for this so-called ‘Island Delfino’ in a little bit, are you not? That must be super exciting!❞
In that moment, Peach seemed to figure it out. She wanted conformation for this, though. ❝Zelda? Aren’t you coming with us...?❞
She shakes her no, and her seemingly happy demeanor falls. Aha, so that was what was going on. Zelda was sad, and it was because of the fact that everyone was going to Island Delfino. But why couldn’t she go? Did she not-
❝I’m too much of a newcomer. Really, this is for experienced Smashers, which I am not... ❞ As if she was reading Peach’s mind, Zelda answers. ❝I can’t just invite myself along. But, of course, I mustn't spoil the mood for everyone. So, that’s why I wished you a happy trip! I'm sorry if I worried you, Peach. I’m just a bit... oh, nevermind!❞
❝I’m so excited for the beach! Maybe I’ve been too stressed out recently. Even royalty deserve breaks, right? I hope Toadsworth will take care of things here in my place. ❞
❝Take care of yourself, Your Highness. Make sure you apply plenty of sunscreen, and the like. We wouldn’t want you to get heat-related sickness now, would we?❞
