We were like you. Harmed by others, we withdrew from the world, and became small, then smaller still, until we became trivial, and the rage became trivial, and we became as you see us now. Only by making the hurts trivial could we survive, and only by becoming trivial could we repay hurts. We became so small that they could not find us, hurt us, or stop us, because in time, if we work very hard, we become so small that one day we disappear completely and we become an Idea. For there is nothing more trivial than an Idea. Ephemeral. Brief. Fleeting, there and gone, Ideas are trifles, just a few words. I knew one such who became two words: inalienable rights. I knew another, Johnny Stick, who became just a few letters, E=MC^2, and though he's still waiting for someone to have him, and to be honest I don't know what they mean, I know that it must be a very important idea because it is so small, so tiny, just a few letters. The fewer the words, the greater the importance. I love you. Three words. Goodbye. One word. Tinier even than I am now, but with such great power, such importance.
