A dark film goes over his eyes when he dives extremely deep, and he gains more spots to see better in the dark. He has gills along his neck and sides.
Personality: Stern, and distrustful of humans and Emmaline, though she hasn’t done anything. Very concerned with duty, and often tries to goad Emmaline into fights so they can do the big showdown that she absolutely REFUSES to take part in.
Background: Delphinius was born in the city of Atlantis, deep underneath the Pacific, towards Australia, with the mark of the Warrior on his back. Though Warriors and Heralds have been born through out the centuries, it is only when they are born within the same decade does the end of the Fae world begin. He was born as the Prince of the Pacific, the first child underneath the King and Queen, though he was to be followed by twin siblings a decade later. From the time he could swim by himself he was put under pressure of learning the ins and outs of royalty and also serving his people as the Warrior of the Deep, defending the innocent of the world from the dark, though he was first to start with his people. His father was always somewhat cold to him, but his parents loved him and his siblings very much. When he was sixteen, it was decided he would travel to America, to investigate the stirrings of a possible zombie outbreak that had been travelling around the rumor mill. It was there he met Emmaline, and he knew she was the Herald from the very start. It puzzled him, however, that she seemed to not only not recognize him as the Warrior, but not seem to care about her role in the Apocalypse whatsoever. When her mother died, she did not turn to chaos and havoc like she was supposed to, as all the Heralds did, but she quietly mourned her mother and took care of her younger sister, the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Since then, he’s been attempting to start up the Apocalypse again, and fulfill his duty, and... try not to think too much about how his home is destroyed, and he’s now the Crown Prince of Nothing.
