Morally grey: A character who does too much bad to be a good person, but does too much good to be a bad person.

Sympathetic villain: A character who is a bad person, but whose backstory/character arc makes you feel sorry for or sympathetic towards them.

Anti-hero: A character who does bad things to achieve a good goal.

Anti-villain: A character who does bad things to achieve a goal that they believe to be good, but is actually messed up.

Just plain annoying: A character who does bad things to achieve a bad goal but has one throwaway line about a hard childhood that is expected to put them into one of the aforementioned categories when in reality it just makes them annoying

I’m actually still really proud of the first panel 😍 even tho it’s only a thumbnail, I really love how it came out, and it was the foundation for improvement on this assignment!

King of Spain by Moxy Früvous is such a good song, and it’s so fitting that it’s on Molly’s playlist.

I often end up listening to it while I’m at work, and at some point, I ended up doodling the most Molly line from the song. 

I wanna adapt this into a full piece at some point!c

I’m working on figuring of how I want to design a character that doesn’t have much of a description yet from Critical Role, and it’s difficult, but fun!l

I was in the middle of drawing this last night when I got the news that Ricardo Roselló resigned from his place as governor of Puerto Rico. After almost two full weeks of protest from the people on the island, backed by protests from literally all over the world, this is a huge victory for us.

There’s still a lot of work to do, but it’s a step in the right direction, and it shows us that we can enact change.

We were talking about evolution in animals, and we talked about bats for a good few minutes, and I couldn’t resist.

Another quick doodle I did during my bio class. We were learning about the immune system, and I happened to be sick while we were doing that unit, so I thought it was fitting.

I wanted to share the initial sketch I did of one of the characters for my illustration class, because I think it’s important for me to share that I don’t always just come up with a “good” or final idea the first go around. 

This was the first version of Eddie, and then I realized that there were aspects of his design that I really didn’t like and changed for the final.

Hey, y’all!

I’m just updating y’all with the change of url. I’m literally changing one (1) letter, because I’m legally changing my name, and I decided to change the spelling.

So I’m now Robyn, with a Y instead of an I, and my url is now spaceboyrobyn, with a Y instead of an I, to match.

hey hi sorry i’ve been meaning to refill my queue, but i’ve had so little spoons lately between doctors appointments, finding out i have hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome, finally getting stuff together to get my name legally changed, driving test prep, and just family stuff. 

thankfully, i should be able to get through my drafts soon with some help, and refill my queue!
