Governor Walz joined by three campaign surrogates—US Congresswomen Stacey Plaskett, Jasmine Crockett, and Former US Representative Beto O'Rourke—continued campaigning in Texas today, decked out in Cherry Creek High School (CO) gear celebrating their win over Highland High School (TX) last night in Dallas. Below is today's 'official' schedule of events in Austin, TX.
Event #1 Event Location: University of Texas at Austin Event Type: Get Out the Vote Event Time: 8:00 - 11:00 CT *During this event Jasmine Crockett spent time with Divine Nine organizations, Stackey Plaskett spent time with cultural organizations, Beto O'Rourke spent time with faculty, and Tim Walz took a tour of three fraternity houses (ΑΕΠ, ΔΤΔ, and ΦΚΨ) and chatted with the brothers. After about an hour of meeting with their select groups the surrogates kicked-off a Get Out the Vote campaign on-campus door knocking on dorms with volunteers to discuss voter registration. The Harris-Walz Campaign is encouraging every Texan to check their voter registration status leading up tot he registration deadline to make sure they're not removed from the rolls by those trying to suppress the vote. Tim Walz spent an hour with each fraternity discussing various campaign issues with them and encouraging them to vote for their future.

Event #3 Event Location: Torchy's Tacos on San Antonio Street Event Type: Dinner with Democratic State Assembly Members Event Time: 19:00 - 22:00 CT *During this even the campaign rented out the popular chain restaurant and invited local democrat and republican members of the Texas House and Senate to talk about issues facing their state.
