I had to chunk together the little automatic chunks that the screenshot button takes on switch, so you'll have to deal with some audio chopping and whatnot.
Also to anyone looking up how to get miis to crush on each other, tips below the cut.
You can't make them date in the demo to my knowledge, but you can get them to crush. Their progression was super slow (as in they stagnated at great friends) until I made a third mii. It doesn't matter how much you make them interact, it will be stuck unless you make a third mii.
If you make a third mii, this will NOT auto lock your demo like some people report. What will is opening the clothing store. Here's what to look out for. Your first mii will wave at you to get your attention for a coin game. They will have a green attention mark. Don't play the game/click check up on them. If you play the coin game, your mii will lock themself in their house and won't talk about anything except opening a clothing store. If you haven't played the coin game yet but still want to feed your mii, take them inside their house. The prompt for the game won't happen in the home from my experience. Only outside.
If you played the coin game already, your other miis can still interact. Your first created mii, as mentioned before, will lock themself inside their home. You can technically talk to them but if you click their thought bubble the game will force you to open the clothing store, force you to gift the clothes you bought, and then upon gifting the clothes, the demo locks.
This in mind, you can still grab and move your miis to force interactions. This progression should happen pretty fast if you already have levels on them or made them talk a lot before. Grabbing the mii who wants to play the game won't make the game happen. Neither will looking at the dream your second mii has when falling asleep at the fountain. Basically just make them talk to each other a lot after you made your third mii, do this in various places on the map while they're doing activities especially (as this prompts unique dialogue and behaviors). Then they'll grow a fast bond.
Some people might also be curious about how to continue making money or collecting warm fuzzies. The ability to do either locks after you make your second wish at the fountain. So if you wanna farm some warm fuzzies or money, you have t do this before your second wish at the fountain. I haven't tested if your miis can still experience progression or not without it. So keep that in mind.
