Red, Dust, and Blue!

Demon AU Headcannons!

This hasn’t shown up in the fic yet, but the demons do use their horns for combat. Similar to that of bulls and rams, that’s how some of the, have chips and damage to their horns. So far, the only ones that really use their horns for combat are Red and Butcher. Nightmare will use his horns if needed but mainly it is for show. This is also a way to display that they are a perfect partner ((Nightmare has the largest horns by far)).

They try to keep their horns looking good, the better taken care of they are and the more likely you are to be noticed :3

Dust would have a large pair of horns as well but his were removed so he is left with stubs.

Red and Butcher (aka Horror) have the second pair of largest horns. Butcher only has one horn though making it harder for him to battle but he has learned how to. Not only that, he is far bigger than the others so his strength makes him by far one of the strongest. Now, the most physically strongest would have to be Blue. Despite his shortness, he is VERY strong. It’s apart of his Sin after all. With him being Pride, he takes pride in his strength and build. They do decorate them for certain occasions, whether for celebrations, status, and or for their partner for a specific season to impress them. Nightmar has a bunch of gold jewlery that he puts on his horns but they can be a pain to put them on and take off. It is easier if a partner or another demon helps him out.To loose your horns is also a huge bruise to your ego. The only one who doesn't care for his horns is Dust. His were taken off purposefully. Loosing your horns is like taking away your whole personality as well. They are unique to each demon. Dust has a reason for his, removing his horns was an act where he didn't think he deserved them anymore.

There is more to come of the Demon AU. Slowly but surely I’m finishing the refs of each one.
