Angel!Ethan x Demon!Mia AU headcanons

Mia thought Ethan was stalking her so the first time they meet its with Ethan on the ground, angel blade pressed against his neck, and Mia glaring down at him.

Ethan asks Mia where she got her angel blade, and she tells him to buzz off. It’s one of the biggest secrets she reveals to him later since it was earned in a deadly fight.

Ethan asks Mia out three times before she finally agrees. She likes his smile and the way his wings float around him in a welcoming way. Mia wanted to accept the first time, but she says no because it’s against the code to be with an angel.

Ethan falls for Mia instantly. He’s a loner, and she’s the first person he can be his true self with. Also, she’s hot af, and she laughs at his stupid jokes. Ethan never had a chance.

Mia is involved with a far reaching gang of powerful demons. She always wants to tell Ethan, but she doesn’t know how to leave without getting him killed in the process.

They marry in a secret wedding May 29th, 2011 on the beach. They never file official paperwork in order to keep anyone from finding out.

Mia is officially lost at sea during a campaign with her gang. She is actually held prisoner for her relationship with Ethan. They try to get her to give up his location, but she refuses.

Three years after she went missing, Ethan finally finds out where Mia is. It’s when he marches in alone that Mia begins to realize just how powerful he is.

They are found by a group of powerful angels and it’s how they meet Chris Redfield. Mia tells them everything she knows for full immunity. Not that Ethan would have allowed them to do anything else.

They go into hiding, & it’s when Mia becomes pregnant. Ethan is terrified. Most mothers do not survive childbirth of nephalems, but Mia successfully gives birth ten months later.

Rose is the love of their lives but it’s obvious she’s very special from birth. She ages quickly & jumps in size only six months after birth.

Miranda is also a powerful Nephalem and wants Rose as her daughter since she has ever been able to conceive her own. She is more powerful than Mia and Ethan and knocks them out to steal Rose away. The only reason she doesn’t kill them is she doesn’t have enough time to.

Ethan and Mia are rage machines and track down Miranda. Together, they are an unstoppable force bulldozing everything in their way. Their battle against Miranda is something for the history books.

Only one person knows where they are hiding now & that’s Chris Redfield. There’s an open invitation if they ever want to join up once Rose is older as three of the most powerful forces alive.

So another AU thought hehe If Angel!Ethan has a true form, then it would make a lot of sense for Demon!Mia to have a true form as well. :D Since Ethan's true form has a more.. (sexy) Biblically accurate angel vibe to it, I imagine Mia's true form is more beastly yet elegant and sexy of course.

Mia's true form is much bigger compared to Ethan, has a shadowy smoky aura around it, sharp claws ready to slice, wings blocking out most of the light, blood red eyes peering into your soul, large jaws that are big enough to swallow you whole, complete with a fierce roar that might make somebody scared shitless :D

I loooooooooove that. Be absolutely terrifying! Because Mia should scare the shit out of anyone up against her.

Also I headcanon Mia smells of sulfur and Ethan makes a quip about enduring the smell of fire and brimstone nonstop and she didn’t realize he could smell it on her so she’s like you? never? said? anything ? And he’s like, it’s not a big deal because it’s for you. And he kisses her on the cheek and FLUFF!!

I did forget to mention earlier, that Angel!Ethan is able to shape his light into weapons,shields etc. Demon!Mia can do the same, but she also has the ability to summon other feisty demons (think imps and hellhounds) to her side ^^

Okay I love that so much cause canonically Ethan’s really able to overcome even death because of his determination and to use that as angel to manipulate his light to protect and attack is perfect.

Also I’ve decided Mia has a pet hellhound and Ethan DIDNT want it at first but he finally gives in and it’s super loyal to the family. It also loves to curl up next to Ethan on the couch.

Taunting Mia and Ethan then suddenly she’s called all her buddies to the fight like you were saying?

Angel!Ethan going berserk during a fight with a really tough baddie and Demon!Mia has to wrangle her husband back into his calm and gentle self ^^

Kinda like the hulk yeah? He’s just a giant rage monster now and his pure fighting form consumes him. And Mia is the only one who can reach through that anger, that fire to calm him down.

She could just *slap* on the back of the head but I’m a softie so I love the concept of him crumbling at the end of the battle in her arms as he calms down. 🥺

Do you think Angel!Ethan and Demon!Mia have powers? Me thinks Angel!Ethan has Photokinesis (Light Manipulation) while Demon!Mia has Achluokinesis (Darkness Manipulation) for contrast :D

I love that. I already decided Mia was a hella powerful demon because she’s survived so long with less initial power than an angel. I’ve been thinking about if the sisters tried to use dark magic against Mia and Ethan in re8 Mia be like, try harder. This is beginner stuff.

I also think that Mia is better at her skills because she had to be but Ethan didn’t until re7 when he started to really refine his skills and learn more.

Also Ethan can totally teleport but never does because Mia can’t so he never thinks to use it.
