How come every time there is a new patch or new content introduced to World of Warcraft, 70-80% of all the players forget that patches always go live on Wednesdays in Europe.
They go live after the servers have gone through maintenance. In the US that is Tuesday morning, in Europe it’s Wednesday morning. This has been the case for several years.
Yet every single time there is a new patch, what feels like thousands of people on the European servers log in on Tuesdays and go “HAI GAIS, WERE IZ DE NU PATCH STUFFZ?” When you tell them it doesn’t go live until tomorrow, they tell you that you are wrong because the site says today.
It’s on Wednesday, it’s always fucking Wednesday.
