I took on your version because it's so good, but actually changed some things and added Barbatos and Diavolo in it. Well I had to create one for Dia because he don't exist XD
Here on my MC's back. He's also the hero of my original novel ^^

All Magic Comes With a Price
*I've had this idea sitting in my drafts for AGES now! I am so so excited to finally be writing it. This entire idea comes from this fan art and the song Friends on the Otherside. This one is differently diverging from canon, so bear with me, but I hope you all enjoy this. -B*
Summary: One too many pacts has left Solomon's soul non-existent and in the hands of demons. The effects are irreversible, and you're forced to bear witness as the mage succumbs to the dark influences around him.
CW: Obsessive behavior, Yandere, Graphic descriptions of pain
Part 2, Part 3
It was inevitable.
The soul could only be stretched so thin, and Solomon recklessly handed piece after piece of his, in return for service, to demons for centuries. In all honesty, it was a miracle he was as human as he was after he managed to form 72 separate pacts.
You could only watch as it worsened over the years and he lost more and more of himself.
When he hit 75 pacts, the passion in his eyes began to fade. At 80, he became irritable and less genuine to those around him. With 85, the small fleck of gold that resided in the bottom of his irises grew until his eyes became a predatorial, luminescent gold. At 90, his canines extended and his skin lost its youthful pallor.
You had begged him to stop, to open his eyes and see what he was doing to himself, but Solomon didn't care. The alluring draw of power was too much for him. He wanted more. He needed to feel the power of the demons around him thrumming through his veins as he made them submit to his will.
So he continued on, becoming more malicious with every demon he conquered. If you were aware of half of the crimes he had committed, Solomon had no doubt that you would never be able to look him in the eyes again, which was precisely why he kept it from you.
It left you deliciously naive when he sent you an invitation to his manor to visit him.
obey me - pacts
my headcanon of where each demon brother’s pact would show on your body if they were visible pacts
lucifer - avatar of pride // back of hand lucifer is the avatar of pride and is also the eldest + most powerful out of the demon brothers, so i like to think that his pact would be on the back of your hand as if he is there to guide you. plus he does a lot of paper work, and a whole ton of writing, so a hand seems appropriate.
out of affection, he’d probably gently hold the fingertips of your hand and examine the back of it, before kissing it like the gentleman he is. then he’ll look up at you and smirk in his lucifer fashion because thats just the man he is. i mean demon-
mammon - avatar of greed // nape mammon boasts about how he’s your first. A LOT. i just feel like if you’re gonna have a pact for the first time in your life, it’d be on your nape since thats not really out of place. not only that, but the nape is a really delicate place, much like mammon is - although he hides it a lot, i think mammon is someone that is rather fragile inside, especially with how much his brothers talk about him.
i think he’ll like it at your nape. initially, when everyone made fun of him for how you had a pact with him so easily, when your hair was down it was easily hidden. but now, whenever someone is talking bad about you, and then you tie up your hair and they get scared of his pact with you - he feels pretty damn proud.
leviathan - avatar of envy // underneath collarbones jealousy starts at the heart, and then it branches out. leviathan, being the avatar of envy as well as someone who is very introverted, would have his pact somewhere near your heart. i dont think it’d be directly on top of your heart because thats a pretty awkward position for a pact to be. collarbones are also known as the beauty bone, so by placing it between the heart and the collarbones, i felt like it fit with the image of leviathan perfectly.
not going to lie, i think placing it below the collarbones is pretty flirty flirty, especially for an otaku like leviathan. maybe you’re wearing his shirt which is wayyy too loose on you, and as the fabric droops casually on your body, and he takes a glance - this demon will be a BLUSHING mess.
satan - avatar of wrath // lower back “anger rises up”/“rose up in anger” or something like that; people say that quite often, and thus i wanted to follow the flow and direction of that anger and wrath. satan himself is also confident and filled with factual information - he has a strong foundation within himself, so placing his pact somewhere near the human center of mass kinda made some sense to me.
satan might be a bit mad; compared to his elder brothers, this pact is rather hard to see clearly, unless you’re wearing something a bit revealing. but its a mark in a rather scandalous place where no one can see it but him when the two of you are alone, or when someone tries to see it and they realise that they have fucked up pretty bad because now the avatar of wrath will be after their asses. so yeah, he likes it.
asmodeus - avatar of lust // lower abdomen i think a lot of people would’ve thought that anywhere near the stomach, like the abdomen, would probably be where beel’s pact is. but nope, this area is occupied by asmodeus’ pact. for one, its relatively close to a region, him being the avatar of lust and all, but also good, healthy food = good skin. that pact better be getting well fed, for it can contribute to a beauty like you ;)
much like satan’s, this pact is also in a rather scandalous place. but asmodeus, being the flirty and happy-go-lucky demon he is, i think he’d like you to flaunt it everywhere you go. he’d even buy clothes from majolish just for you to wear and show your pact to everyone else. but you can decline and he’d still be alright because after all, he likes to sneak glances at his pact without you knowing.
beelzebub - avatar of gluttony // left shoulder blade i put the twins as the shoulder blades because you cant ever separate them, they must always come as a pair~! additionally, beelzebub is pretty buff, and he’s got some broad shoulders. he’d want to be your strength, like the sweet demon beelzebub is. i think that your strength doesnt only come from your muscles, it flows through your whole structure - the shoulder blades are super important !!
when the two of you are exercising together, he’ll definitely eye the way your back muscles contract and make the pact even more clearly visible. then he’ll grin at himself quietly, without you knowing how much he was admiring the pact.
belphegor - avatar of sloth // right shoulder blade belphegor’s pact would balance well with beelzebub’s pact - much like how after a good meal comes a good sleep, after you glance at the left shoulder blade you glance at the right shoulder blade. if that makes sense...? belphegor and his sheer power, being the youngest of the demon brothers as well as the most tired, i believe deserves a lot more spotlight. this demon is pretty darn strong. so adding onto my whole shoulder-blade-structure-strength idea from beelzebub’s i think the other shoulder blade fits pretty well :)
while the two of you are cuddling and going to bed, wherever he is he’ll always get a good glance at your pact with him. he could trace it until you go to sleep, or he could hug you from behind while he tries to go to sleep... its perfect for him. he absolutely loves it.
Working with Familiars in Witchcraft
What is a Familiar?
A Familiar is any spirit of the servitor subcategory who agrees to assist you. Higher beings such as dragons, demons, angels, deities, etc. obviously won’t become a Familiar since they aren’t willing to act as servants. The majority of servitor spirits come from Hell, where they serve under demons as their butlers. These infernal entities are often imps or shadowy beings (not the “shadow people”, which are Khaibits). These are the most common Familiar spirits since they are generally easy to gain (if a contract is made with a supervising demon), although anyone who works closely with the demons will have an even easier chance at getting a Familiar.
However, if you are living near nature, you may have a chance to gain an elemental spirit as a Familiar. There are many types of elementals, including salamanders (fire), sylphs (air), plant spirits, and undines (water). These elementals will become a Familiar only if they agree to it, and as long as you stay living around nature (since elementals can’t live in cities). If you do live in a nature-filled area, you will have to venture into whichever place feels right and contact an elemental type of your choosing. If you choose a plant spirit, you must keep its plant body with you and keep it alive. When the plant eventually dies, you will have to seek another since the spirit will depart and reunite with Gaia. If you choose a water elemental, they will stay with you only if you have a large basin of water in your home for them to live in.
A rare exception to the two above options is if a deity loves you a lot and sees you as worthy in your progress of magick. If this happens, the deity will grant you a familiar spirit that is connected to them (for example, Horus may grant a hawk Familiar). But again, this is very rare to occur, making the two above options the most likely choices.
Despite common misconceptions that arose in modern times, a Familiar cannot be an ordinary pet. This is because the pet is simply an animal and has neither connection to magick or even an understanding of what magick is. Thus, they cannot do anything as a Familiar. If one wishes to have a physical Familiar, however, they would have to do a ritual that the old witches performed. This was to take a Familiar spirit they had, and with their consent, have them embody a physical animal. Although this method is no longer advisable due to potential risks that I will mention later.
How to acquire a Familiar:
In the vast majority of cases, a Familiar is only gained through making a contract. As stated before, this is usually with demons, but can also be done with elementals who agree to assist you. Though be warned, if you attempt to force any spirit into this as a slave, whichever higher being that looks after them will find out and act in wrath.
As for contracts, 9/10 of these are going to be life-binding since Familiars are a life-long commitment. Due to this, think very carefully on whether you are taking this seriously, if magick is something you wish to devote your whole life to, and if you are fully accepting of the Familiar in question. Once bound, you are obligated to treat your Familiar with respect and they to you. Because of the life-long partnership, Familiars can sometimes be passed on to your descendants if they become witches as well.
In very rare circumstances, a deity may grant you a favour if you are deemed as worthy and will send you a Familiar of their own. But in the majority of times, Familiars are gained through pacts with demons since they are the easiest and most likely ones to acquire. Make sure that you make a pact with a demon who is trustworthy for you, and one who you have spoken with before. Additionally, make absolute certain that it is truly a demon you are signing a contract with and not a tar spirit disguising itself as one, since this will lead to trouble.
How to work with a Familiar:
If you wish for your Familiar to act mainly as an advisor for your magick or on other needs (such as advice), it needs to remain in spirit-form, not embodied. In the past however, witches would sometimes have their Familiars embody animals so they could do things such as guard them, deliver messages, retrieve important things, spy on enemies, etc. Depending on how powerful the Familiar was, they were still able to project out of the animal body; but less-powerful ones couldn’t and also weren’t able to act as advisors due to this.
So nowadays, it is far better to use Familiars strictly as spirits. This is also because if you are inexperienced in witchcraft, you will likely contact a spirit that is not truly a servitor but rather something malevolent. These are usually tar spirits, which often prey upon the unsuspecting. If you contact something like this unknowingly and have it embody an animal, the animal would then be possessed and become highly aggressive. So please only work with unembodied Familiars, as this will leave out that potential risk and they are also able to help far better in magick.
Day 3: Love, using the template created by @benjiweird
First and foremost.... i really dreaded posting these sketches lol. oof i cringe at my faces ;~; but i worked ALL DAY on em so bleh.
Secondly.... This is the third and last story of the Demon Pact ogs that I'll tell this month. The story of the lovers. Inspired by middle school me falling in love with the vocaloid song Black Vow lol. The story goes as follows:
Arthur was born a girl, and always despised it. He felt unlucky, disgusting, revolted by his entire being. He envied men with a passion, and felt disdain towards the women in his life for silencing his feelings. He succumbed to his research for a way out, and came across a summoning ritual to get what he wanted. A new body.
It took months of summoning the wrong sorts until he finally found one he wanted. A high level demon with a proficiency in carving human flesh. With a contract signed, and numerous souls promised, he was finally able to get a new body. Coincidentally, a war was started, and he signed up as a ploy into getting a new identity.
He was reckless, ruthless, and unafraid. His compatriots saw him as a role model, while his demon gladly sat by to collect her due.
She struck gold with this human, not having to lift a finger after simply reforming his body. She decided to leave him alone, finding it not necessary to hover over his shoulder his entire life. She would simply pay him a visit every now and then.
Once the war was done and everyone went back, Arthur was adopted into a tycoon's social circle. He had come to see Arthur as a brother, and they together opened a business made immediately successful by Arthur's notoriety. He had it made.
The years kept coming and as everyone married, he stayed stubbornly single. He was mocked endlessly for it, but he was never bothered. He had yet to find an attraction to anyone, and concluded by himself that it was a fault in his body switch. It was the only reasoning he could find.
One gala, he visited the south to meet with a partner and past associate. Arthur's eye is unexpectedly caught by his sister, a woman he never once spoke of.
A quiet girl with no input of her own, but with expressions that betrayed her mind. And a blind gaze that made Arthur's shoulders feel heavy with the weight of his sins. Ethel was her name.
He was breathless. But his logic concluded she was merely a first crush. She was surely no different than the other docile women of high society. Her judgemental attitude was a trick of his head, looking for someone to finally see through him. That was it.
On the night that was meant to be his last, he roamed their mansion to get to a balcony. She was there, alone. For the first time in his stay, she spoke. He was hung on her every word.
It started as an accusation. "I am a woman alone, and you are a male visitor, approaching me without my asking, at night. Should I be screaming, Mr. Murphy?"
Thanks to his diffusal, it toned down to opinionated discourse.
She vented on her frustrations in life; becoming blind, being infantalized, and her family looking at her like spoiled goods, never to be wanted in a marriage.
Arthur listened, and took everything in. She was smart. She had a temper. And when he encouraged her to let it out, she knew curses he'd only heard come from the battlefield after his comrades swigged whisky. They were laughing and enjoying the other's company.
Morning came, and they hadn't slept a wink. Arthur commented on how bad this would be for his travel. Ethel wished out loud that she could have the same complaint. Arthur held his nerve for what came next.
After a single night of talking, he suggested to her he take her away.
Her family eagerly let her go. They never expected her, now past the marriageable age and without sight, to find a suitor, much less one close to a family member and so well-endowed.
They married, but internally, they were still just friends, traveling the country in search for new business ventures. He trusted her with his plans, and she trusted him with her opinions. The more they lived together, the more he shared, and their platonic friendship eventually crossed into a romantic one as he came clean about his demon.
And his original body.
While miffed at first because she thought he was pulling a prank on her, she started to believe him when his demon came to visit for the first time in a decade.
His demon was annoyed at his lack of more souls, but he concluded he paid her enough. He didn't see a reason to be forced to take lives anymore. And the ones he already had haunted his sleep nonstop.
He was adamant that he had paid enough.
It was with this conversation that the demon noticed his wife's presence... And her condition. Blindness? She could cure it. His eyes widened and her fangs gleamed. For a price, of course.
The demon left to give him more time to think it over, and Ethel had heard every word of his seemingly one-sided conversation. While still not entirely convinced, she knew he was scared of the thing he saw. She reassured him she was happy as she was, that she didn't need to see.
But as he held her that night, his love for hee overwhelmed him, and her words were thrown aside. He knew her struggles and the sights she missed. He had already modified one body for the souls of many. For his wife, he could throw in some more.
~~
huehuehue i stop this now but I'll tease, this is a romantic tragedy. I love the ending I've planned for it... Though it makes me cry XD oof.
You know demons are better than humans because even they ask for consent
Note:
You don't have to be possessed to have a relationship with Lucifer. You don't have to sell your soul, either. In fact, don't. Just don't!
If you want to dedicate yourself to Lucifer, you can put it in writing and seal it with a little blood, but this isn't Hollywood. Use your head.
Me: *sends my friend a particularly good gif of Noel Fielding*
Friend: WHY IS HE SO HOT
Me: I vote pact with a demon. Which does not, in my book, make him ANY LESS HOT.
Friend: no....no...that would definitely increase the hotness factor even further.
Friend: in addition to which, if it IS a demon pact, then he would know how to get ME one of those.
Me: I am with you every step of the way.
Me: with blood and glitter.
