So… the whole thing about Terzo thinking no one would want him around unless he's able to offer them something?

Demon Terzo who would always sing tiny Copia to sleep. Always. Every single night for as long as Copia could remember. But then teenage Copia has a lullabys-are-for-babies phase which forces Terzo to get more creative with the offerings (maybe stuff like books or tickets to cinema?) It works until adult Copia figures he should stop treating the demon like his personal genie. What if he gets offended and stops wanting to hang out? (He would probably also be happy with the lullabys again but is too embarrassed to ask). Meanwhile Terzo is having a crisis, because he can give Copia the world and he happily would if it ment he got to hang around for a little longer, but the human just doesn't want a thing!

I like to imagine Copia doesn’t hear from his demon for a bit and feels sad and lonely without him. One night, he’s lying in bed and the nostalgia hits him hard. He starts humming to himself one of the lullabies his demon used to sing to him. After some time, he realizes there is another, softer voice humming along with him.
