3 Shades of Bear- Short
3 Shades of Bear Short - St. Patty’s Day Mischief
Okay so this is a short continuation of the Valentine’s Day Story I wrote before. This was written in one go and honestly was mostly a stress reliever. I also had the idea since a little after the first one so I had to use it. So here’s a quickie on me! Marianasphan opted out of this one but maybe the next holiday ha ha! Anyways, enjoy! Story below cut.
I woke up thinking it was night out, taking a moment to realize that I had once again failed to take down the blackout curtains from Valentine’s Day. It had been slightly over a month yet I always managed to find something to do before taking them down. I’d long cleaned up the spell and done a purification ritual in my room. Honestly, I had never expected the spell to work. It still kind of scares me to think it worked.
Rubbing the back of my neck, I tried to sit up but found my body wouldn’t move. I breathed out in sad frustration. I felt like this a lot now. Tired. Sad. Just... numb. Even now, I could barely move my limbs but lifting the trunk of my body was impossible.
“Aria?” My sister walked in, frowning. Her lips puffy in a pout, so similar to my own. I wouldn’t ever want to wear that color though. “Are you gonna get up soon? It’s already three and I wanna go soon. Remember, you’re my ride.”
I frowned. “Ride?”
She sighed, that was when I noticed how horrifically... green she was. “Yes. We decided as a team effort that you are more depressing than usual and that forcing you into some color through green liquor would be the best antidote. Even if you don’t celebrate the holiday, you don’t need a holiday to drown some breakup depression in alcohol.”
I narrowed my eyes. “And who, dear sister, did I break up with?”
She shrugged. “How should I know? You didn’t even tell me you were into Satan until I walked in on you praying to a candle butt naked.”
I held my hand out and she helped me up, a worried look on her face. I sighed, deciding to indulge her. Maybe it would be good for me to get out. “I wasn’t praying to a candle, that was a ceremony to induct myself into my religion, if you want to put it that way. I also don’t have a thing for Satan, he’s not real.”
“I saw your internet history.”
“Those were demons.”
“Demons, Satan, same difference. It was still a lot of wacky ass porn that I never wanted to see in my life. Why do you think demons have penises the size of your torso?”
I put my head in my hands. “There is a difference between morbid curiosity and an actual kink.”
“Okay, sure. Are you good to move? Are you... woken up now?”
Did she think I was half asleep and that’s why I needed her help getting up? I shrugged, testing my legs by standing up. When I was sure that I wouldn’t crash down from taking a few steps, I went to my dresser and threw off my clothes. “Just let me take a shower.”
“Can’t you take your clothes off in the bathroom you exhibitionist?” She put her hand up to shield her eyes, clicking her tongue.
I rolled my eyes. “I’m your baby sister. You gave me baths.”
“I’ll be waiting downstairs you dirty fucker.”
I shook my head, grabbing some clean clothes. I plugged in my phone then headed across the hall into the bathroom. Singing under my breath, I started up the hottest shower I could stand. Hopefully I could jump start my body through my own type of heat-therapy. It was about five minutes into my shower, I’d just started rinsing the conditioner out when I let out a shriek. I’d been jolted out of my shower-trance by a sharp pinch on my side.
My eyes were wide, looking around wildly. “What the fuck...” I looked down at my side, lifting my arm to get a better look. Even though my skin was flushed from the heat, the part that still stung was slightly more red than the rest. I lifted my other arm and began to run my fingers through my hair, helping get out the conditioner while also working out bedhead tangles.
It took less than a minute for another pinch higher up on my side to occur. I froze, my throat tightening and my heart racing. “Wh-who’s there?”
Was it in my head? I definitely saw the marks where I’d felt the pinch. “It’s been a month. I’ve taken plenty of showers before. This is ridiculous; it’s not connected.”
Suddenly I felt invisible arms wrap around my torso, moving up my chest. I stared straight ahead, stunned as they began to tease and pinch the soft flesh. My mouth opened, slightly in horror and slightly in arousal. “Grey?”
“What are you doing? Come on Aria, it’s been twenty minutes! How long are you gonna shower to go to a place that’s gonna smell like puke by the end of the night?” My sister banged on the door, her voice more worried than angry.
It was enough to bring me back to reality. Enough to realize I was letting almost ice cold water pour over me. “Jesus Christ!” I quickly turned the water off, shivering as I dried myself off. I put the towel around me and walked out as Harper looked at me concerned.
“How hot was your shower? You have goosebumps just walking around the house?” The goosebumps were actually going away the longer I was out of that shower. She didn’t need to know that though.
“Come on, let's go.” I quickly dressed and threw some boots on. “I’m ready to drown in liquor.”
“Green beer is better.”
“Green beer is disgusting. Cheap doesn’t mean better.”
“Yeah, it means more. Quantity becomes quality the more you drink it.”
I snorted, elbowing her. “I’m good. You wanna drive there or me?”
“I will. I don’t plan to be the one driving home tonight.”
“Great.” I sighed. “Another night in the car. I’m drowning my demons in vodka tonight.”
Harper let out a disgusting chortle as she walked out the door. I bit my lip, stepping out after her. Right as I was about to exit the door, I felt a pinch on my rear. I yelped, flipping around to stare into the empty living room. “Aria?”
I shook my head, my face flushing. “It’s nothing.”
As I turned around I felt a pair of lips brush against my ear. “Put on something green before you go out, pet.”
My lips parted, but I didn’t turn around. My cheeks dark red, I asked Harper if I could wear one of her green accessories. She raised a brow as she undid her green bow-tie and re-did it on me. “Sure, sis, but why the change of heart? You’re all black aesthetic is kind of ruined by it.”
“I just don’t need anyone pinching me anymore tonight is all.”
“Anymore?” I ignored her and opened the side door. She got in the driver’s seat and stared me down.
I adjusted the bow-tie and cleared my throat. “Slip of the tongue.” Wait, did he call me his pet? I glared at the house as it pulled away. I don’t think I liked the sound of that.
Welp, I did it @marianasphan. I didn’t do it on St. Patty’s Day, but I finished it on the Spring Solstice so heyyy. Lol. I’ll see your babies come April, yeah?
First story in the series here.
