Demo is so fucking cruel to Engie in his domination lines lmao like he sounds genuinely taken aback and contemptuous of him. They’re both engineers in their own way but Demo goes out of his way to discount the idea that Engie’s craft is worth anything at all. Toy maker. Bra washer. Big ugly girl etc etc. How personal! Demo’s got a bit of a habit of that, right? He’s particularly fixated on Scout and Heavy for being too fat or too small respectively as well. Like he makes a real meal out of cackling about Scout being a toy sized version of a man. So Demo is especially aware of other people’s bodily oddities because his life is so dominated by his own. Fun!
Dell is also missing a body part, but he is not half as in his feelings about it as Tavish is, and that’s gotta sting. Dell also has a family legacy to uphold but he’s not faced half as much pressure about it as Tavish has. And also, in his own domination lines, hoo boy, Dell will not shut the fuck up about Tavish’s missing eye! He has a single line that’s passive aggressive in a very southern grandma typa way where he tells him he shouldn’t be drunk on the battlefield. Which like. Lmao. Dell is mocking him for losing one of his most sensitive body parts when he was a child and telling him that he should be sober while listening to it? God no wonder Demo is so pissy with him. No wonder Engie gets along with Medic so well! On the downlow they can both be pretty goddamn backhanded and cruel when they care to.
