Conservatives- why do you claim to want smaller government but feel it appropriate to govern away our basic civil rights? Don't believe in marriage between different skin colors or the same sex? Don't engage in that. Believe your god thinks life begins with your gonads? Don't take birth control or get an abortion. But leave everyone else the hell alone. Sure, it's your right to avoid scientific inquiry and education and bury your head in whatever religion you happened to be born into.
