HAWTHORNE CZERNOBOG

Hawthorne is much different from who he was when he was born. Years of disappointments, both real and imagined, have beaten most of the enthusiasm out of him, and now he's depressed and isolating himself. He sticks to one-word answers whenever possible, and tries not to get too attached to anyone. It's easier that way, so when they inevitably leave him behind, he doesn't feel like he's losing too much.

no roundabouts in the US aren't standard, as a matter of fact they put one at an intersection near my parents house known as "five points" because it was a FIVE WAY INTERSECTION (yea, do the math on that one in your head) because five points had a deadly crash at least once every few years (because a five way intersection isnt safe), if not more, and even though there hasnt been a crash since it went up, people STILL bitched about it for ages

yikes! I guess roundabouts can be tricky if you aren’t used to them, but since they’re much safer it’s probably time to make people used to them and teach new drivers how they work... a 5 way intersection sounds really dangerous.
