MY REVIEW

I think I enjoyed this book more than the first one in the series. The story and sett are better written than book one in my opinion. I didn’t feel lost or confused reading Bella and Owen’s story. I enjoyed the moving parts a tad bit more than book one as well. I really liked the life lesson taught in this one too. Talk about a huge slice of humble pie. You definitely experience that in this story. The additional characters added were a wonderful addition to the story and I enjoyed their interactions with each other.

Overall this book was a steady paced read. The story drew me in and was hard to put down. The characters are strong, developed and interesting. The story teaches some life lessons that everyone should be able to relate to. I loved the wickedness of the world the author has created. It has many triggers readers should be aware of, considering that the story is centered around a women’s shelter for the abused. The story is full of deception, sin and romance. But be warned it has a cliffhanger just like book one and you will not guess who.
