My ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review

This book is about the strength and fears of carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. That is what Courtney Mason has done for years after her husband's death. With four children and a dilapidated farm the struggles are real. When it seems all hope is lost she finds help in a new neighbor.

Mitch was a strong character. He is full of integrity and care. He takes on the burden to help those who need him. His first encounter with Courtney's daughter is hilarious. That child is a spitfire and I just loved her energy.

This book really deep dives into a single mother's fears and struggles. At times it is almost hard to read Courtney's scenes where she lets fear overtake common sense and overreacts to things that she should just graciously accept. These scenes make you want to yell at her to stop and just breathe.

Overall this is a great story. Although it has a hockey player in it the book does not center around the game. It is a sweet and romantic story filled with so much hope and laughter. The kids are adorable and will just light up your life with their energy and loving natures. Add in to mischievous goats and you have one heck of a enjoyable book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes emotional and inspiring stories.

My ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review

Hold Me Close is the last in the Dangerous Obsession series and what a conclusion it was. This book centers around our sexy spy Ethan or shall we say Nathan. He is working undercover for some really bad folks and has a dark secret that could get him killed if they find out. This just may be his most dangerous assignment yet. Then add in the beautiful Olivia, the pilot and stuff just got real.

As the danger levels are out of control in this book, their is a lot more torture than we have endeared in the past books. I mean you could literally see and feel the pain. Just when you thought all was well with the German group more bad guys come out to play and they are just as deranged as Juric.

This book is a pretty steady read till you get 88% in, then it takes off like a rocket. There is an air of danger around every corner and is filled with triggers that will be pretty bad. Stuff like torture, attempted rape, blood, gore, gun violence and kid napping. This book is a dark romance thriller that will give you all the thrills and chills perfectly blended together. We will get to see our old friends in action as well as the new ones.

This nonstop adventure is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. I would suggest reading the first two books before diving into this one, just so you can experience the full effect. If you don't you may not understand some of the story told by other playing characters, but you won't be a total loss.

I highly recommend this book along with its predecessors for all those you adrenaline junkie readers out there. It is sure to keep you invested.

My ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review

Wow Piper and Rayne did an excellent job with this last book in the Dugout series. Who knew Easton Bailey had a heart of gold and was a sucker for romance. When the book 3 ended with a baby dump I was invested to see how it played out and I have to say it far exceeded my expectations. Who would have thought Easton would step up to the plate and man up. I didn't think the playboy had it in him. Boy does he prove everyone wrong.

Hadley the wanderer did an excellent job of opening up in this book and I really enjoyed her character and the struggles she had. I really commend her part when she handles Tanner's mom reveal with grace and integrity. She did not let it blow up what she and Easton had built. But I got to tell you, you will never guess who it is and it will blow your mind.

Overall this book was a great read full of the snarky fun that the Colts bring to the table. This big baseball family continues to grow and they have each others back always. The loyalty between them is amazing and I love the women they chose to be with them. All perfectly matched. This book has laughs, anger and tears that are sure to give you a ride like any other. I can't wait to see what Piper and Rayne come up with next. Love them baseball guys.

My ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review

Oh my! I did not think the next book could compare to the first, but wow!!! It did and it held it's own with the saga. This book was non-stop action packed thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire read. I could not put this book down. Completely devoured it. It will shatter you and then put you back together again. So much violence and destruction. Just Wow!!!!

This book centers around Jason's brother Sean, the successful CEO of the beer company their family built. He is a flirt and gets everything he wants. Kara is Laurel's sister. Their relationship is on the mend after some tough years of no contact, but they are good now and moving on with life.

Sean is relentless with his advances on Kara. After her horrible marriage, she is scared to attempt anything with the playboy. But danger is just around the corner and they are thrown into a life and death episode that will push the boundaries of the already rocky relationship.

This book was full of violence, murder, destruction, kidnapping, drugs, sexual content and controlling men. Be warned and take heed of all trigger warnings, because there are a lot. But those make this book so worth it. It is full of action, steamy scenes, scares and thrills. It is an adrenaline rush of epic proportions. I recommend this to all you dark romance readers out there. But be sure to read book one, you don't want to miss any of the important bits.

My ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review

Another emotional and wonderful romance from Renee Harless. This book is full of big emotions from page one till the end. I have never seen characters that were so in sync as the ones in this book. Holt and Lark were characters of few words, but what they did say to one another packed a punch. They knew without saying what words and that kind of chemistry makes for a great love story.

The book is full of danger and side characters with other agendas that really give the story that extra oomph it needed. Along with the danger our characters both struggle with past haunts and are in the process of healing themselves. As I said "big emotions".

Overall this book is a steady but slow paced read. It has a lot of moving parts that sometimes I found a bit confusing in some spots, but this may be resolved a bit in final editing. It has wonderful and strong lead characters and some adorable pets. It is filled with a lot of emotion and dangerous acts with a bit of mystery thrown in. I enjoyed the story and would like to see more from Coral Bell Cove.

I absolutely love this series and this installment just reaffirms my feelings on that matter. I fell hard for the Colts and I am enjoying each of their stories as they each fall hard in love. Just a warning though the ending on this book is jaw dropping.

This installment focuses on Decker Davis. Veteran player and all around grumpy good guy who has secretly been in love with one woman his entire life. Penelope is a single mom who has a huge secret and is the catalyst of all things Foster and Decker. Add in yet another adorable little kid and you have the perfect book. So hang on to your seats because this book is about to take you for a ride.

This book is full of secrets, love, strength and bonds. You will see just how loyal Decker is to everyone and how loyal Chicago is to him. We learn alot more about the relationship between Decker and his brother Foster and all they have endured to become who they are today. And let us not forget Easton and all his crazy shenanigans. I swear that boy is Trouble with a capital T!!!

Overall this book is fun, energetic and quite lovely. It is sweet and romantic, yet a little on the dirty side. But like with all the books in this series it ends with a jaw dropping moment and leaves you wanting more. This book has all the perfect elements to be the absolute best romantic comedy. Here's to waiting for the next book of crazy fun...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review

This book has a badaxx lead female character. She overcomes quite a bit during her story and she amazed me with her smarts and strength.

Laurel is a ballet dancer. A dancer who witnesses a murder and then obtains a stalker. Jason is the marshall hired to protect her and she is not what he imagined when told he was babysitting a dancer. He also did not expect to fall for her.

This book is a nonstop action packed read. It is an adrenaline rush from the very first page. There is loads of danger, kidnapping, violence and steamy hotness. It is a dark read that will blow your mind. Things you don't expect will happen and it will end with a lead into a new story. I loved the rush this book has and it was a well laid out story. The characters are strong and interesting. Can't wait to read more.

Finally the answers to Callum's grumpy disposition are here. In this finally Seattle Serpents installment we get to meet the missing wife Chloe and learn more about what happened and where she has been hiding. This book is an emotional one so break out the tissues.

I have to say when reading this book my respect and love for Callum grew with every page read. He is the most loyal and loving man on that team. Three years....just saying. His character is strong and loving. He is the most amazing man.

Chloe is an interesting person. She definitely has some self esteem issues. She struggles with this and self discovery throughout the book. Callum is a patient man with her though. Loyal AF. Their journey is a tough one, but have faith.

This book is more emotional than the others and feel that Callum and Chloe's story was more in depth emotion wise than everyone else. The seriousness is there as well as the complete Alpha male "don't say shit about my woman or touch her and die attitude." The book still has that comedy factor with the guys, especially "Lawless Lawson" everyone's favorite annoying player. He gives the books a fun flair with his shenanigans. Overall a top notch book.

I loved this spin off series and all the characters. Teagan Hunter is the hockey romance queen. She even left this book ending with a spoiler for the next series spin off, as you will notice they all tie together somehow. I cannot wait to see what is next for the hockey team world. They next team has a lot to live up to, as their predecessors are an amazing bunch.

I absolutely love this series. With that said this second installment is just as good as the first. So good in fact that I cannot choose which is my favorite. Yep Foster is amazing.

This book picks right up after the bomb that blew up the ending in book one. Yep Callie is pregnant and keeping baby daddy a secret is a must. This book dives into the story of Callie's surprise pregnancy and she now has to navigate a life she never knew she needed.

Foster deals with a lot of stuff in this book and we learn the real reason he left Seattle. And folks it is a scandal unlike any other and could ruin him. Don't forget that Decker and Foster's brotherly relationship is nonexistent, rocky at best.

This book is full of big emotions. The turmoil and stress runs rapid and things are really on shaky ground for the Colts. But things will happen and they will surprise not only our characters but you as well. A since of togetherness will make this team stronger than ever, but it is a new season and with new seasons comes trades. Hopefully our favorite players will make it to the next season.

Piper Rayne has hit a home run with this series. I never knew that baseball romance was a thing, I mean you know those hockey guys are pretty hot. But on another note, this author combo has really done a wonderful job with this series and I cannot wait to read more. I believe baseball guys might have created a new crush for me.

OMG!!! I'm in love. Can I have a Colt Player pretty please??

This story was pure perfection with and amazing character line up. It contains that perfect blend of romance, comedy, seriousness and sexiness. I loved absolutely everything about it. Hayes and Leighton are just meant to be from the very first interaction. This book may have some triggers for some readers as it does mention infidelity, divorced parents, death of family members and all the hot sexy scenes. So be warned.

This book flows so smoothly and is a steady paced read. The author took her time creating a story that has depth and beautiful outcomes. Her characters deal with real life struggles and use one another to build something strong and beautiful. Hayes and Leighton will struggle as their challenges are tough ones, but love will bring things full circle. The ending is a bit of a cliffhanger that will lead into a very interesting second book. It definitely leaves you wondering which Colt is next. I know I can't wait.

I highly recommend this wonderful romantic comedy.

My Review

OMG!!! If you thought the pre-quel was hot as F, then this book is sure to peak your interest. This book is just as hot if not hotter than it's quickie of a predecessor.

This book picks up where Charlie is starting her new job working for the Serpents Hockey Team. The job she is really over qualified for and not entirely happy about taking. But a job is a job, even if it is with her brother and father.

Leif has been traded to the Serpents. Which he is super excited about since his bestie Wes is the Captain of the team. He is happy to be playing hockey with him again. He is in the zone even though he has been thinking about a one night stand he had back in LA. But don't worry, fate has plans for him.

This book is fun, entertaining and oh so steamy. It has an amazing character line up that is sure to provide many more books to come. I fell in love with Leif from the very first pre-queal book and enjoyed seeing him find his happily ever after. Eddie on the other hand I wanted to throat punch a few times or tell him to grow up. But his reasons are revealed for the insta hate he gives. Maybe in future books he will be a better dog dad.

Overall this book is amazing and hockey rom-coms are my absolute favorite genres. If I had another author to compare this authors writing skills to it would be Teagan Hunter (Queen of Hockey Rom-Com). Liz Lincoln blends humor and romance together perfectly and is on point with her story telling. Her books are a steady paced read with amazing endings. I highly recommend this book to all those Hockey Romance fans. Warning this book contains graphic sexual scenes. sexual orientation and belittling behaviours.

My Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Star Read

OMG!!! I loved this one. It was adorable. Noah aka Mr Grumpy owns the Stick Taps hockey bar. Odette is a wedding planner who's career is spiraling and is looking to make a comeback with the bestie's wedding. That is if Mr. Grumpy allows them to use his farm/bar for the venue.

This comedy is such a fun and entertaining read. It is full of snark, laughs, sweet romance and of course, Teagan style, an adorable kitten. If you are a Teagan Hunter fan then you know she is famous for putting adorable animals in her books. This book is full of kitties. I loved it especially Ms. Peaches. That lady is a sneaky little devil.

This book was so much fun to read with it's swoon level a big 10. It has a lot of emotion, tension and sexual escapades. It is a steady paced read with an excellent character line up. It sets up the ending perfectly for the next edition to focus on another Grumpy man.....hmmm wonder who that will be, lol. If you love a good age-gap, best friend's brother, small town romance, then this is for you.

Well that definitely turned out different from what I was expecting. I did not expect my favorite duo to be put through so much pain and torture. I did expect and was not let down about Creighton. He was the monster I imagined him to be. But where there is a monster there is always a woman to calm the beast within. That is what Blake is.

In this edition we get more of a background story into how Creighton and Blake came to be and why she was running in the last book. It makes so much more sense now, why she went back to him. He is a scary dude with his dead eyes and emotionless persona. But deep down one emotion burns and that emotion is his love for Blake, even though he is not sure how to express it.

This story has a lot of emotion in it as well as violence. Be prepared and be sure to read those trigger warnings, because this monster is not tame and he will do some damage. Some triggers to look out for are fighting, death by hanging, blood, gun violence, kidnapping, abuse and mentions of rape and trafficking. With all this being said, this book was a 5+ star read and has an amazing storyline incorporated. The characters are badass and I love the alpha vibes. Creighton is like a God in this book. You can tell by how people react to him when he walks into a room. His whole auro demands respect or death my just be your future.

Tijan did a wonderful job continuing this story. She really does a number on her previous characters giving this book all kinds of craziness. Readers who love Tisten and Ashton are going to be hurt and thrown over the bridge at what happens to them in this book. Trust me no character is safe in this one.

Be sure to read books one and two in the Kings of New York series before starting this one. They give the whole story a life and make this book the greatness that it is. You could read this book as a standalone if you wanted, but you really don't want to. Trust me on this, you will want to have all the fine details you can get to truly imagine Creighton.

I highly recommend this book to all you mafia romance lovers out there. It should be on your 2026 top ten reads this New Year.

This is one of those he falls first and hard romances. Cole falls the minute he finds a sexy, curvy women limping down the road. Grace is a bit slower on the falling part, but she is not far behind. This is a quick romance filled with self doubt and loneliness. Grace is struggling with what her life is to become. She feels like she just doesn't fit in with her life since the implode. But with the smile of a sexy, grumpy, cowboy she begins to feel like maybe she is home.

This book is fun, exciting and sexy. Cole is so sweet and caring. Add in a baby cow and you got yourself a great cast of characters who will make you smile all day. This book is full of big emotions and Grace struggles a bit before getting a happily ever after. This fast paced read will entertain you for hours and give you those butterflies in the tummy feeling.

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet small town romance. It is a great book with a wonderful cast of characters. I can't wait to see which sister falls next.
