yeah youre right w the style vs substance thing! also bc sometimes they intersect in such a way that you can't pull them apart in some movies. like w horror movies where the style of the directing is what adds to the substance, like the Lighthouse. but yeah my fav movie is into the spiderverse not bc i know anything about marvel but bc it looks SO COOL
EXACTLY!!! the best movies are where they can intersect! its why you can get action movies people enjoy despite dreary directing (those ppl prefer substance) and animation clip shows with no connecting plot (those ppl prefer style) and when you get a movie like spiderverse or the lighthouse that takes full advantage of all facets of film making as a medium is when you get true gems :)

i also am not going to play all the aa games. first it was because i didnt want to see them butcher the plotlines that aa4 set up but now it is also because ive seen mayas full body design and lord almighty what have the done
IWBDIWBEIDBF listen my knowledge of aa is VERY limited ive literally only played the first two games in the original trilogy so like. I don't even know who apollo is I'm completely out of it. However I can say whatever that is on the right it doesn't look like Maya. it's immensely funny but also I hate it. it literally looks like they pokemon evolved her what the hell

it's the herlock sholmes thing right. I have absolutely no idea of what that game is or in what way it's related to ace attorney since all I've seen about it does look like aa at all. but I'm glad y'all're having fun
