It's been a while since I've posted on Tumblr. Figured that needed to change. We successfully raised enough money on Kickstarter (even more than my intended goal) for me to finish my first full length album!! Thanks to 101 of you guys, I was able to head back home at the end of March and finish the album I've been working on with Jonathan O'Brien at the Music Box Studios in Tustin, CA. The Hicks Canyon Band was kind enough to help me out too, so a few of the tracks have a full band sound that you've never heard on any of my songs before!
I seriously can't wait to get this out to you guys. It sounds so much better than I ever could have imagined. Be on the lookout for it sometime in May 2014 :)

Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas have already been rocking the local music circuit in hometown Detroit, but their soulful sound is bound for bigger things. Rounding out 2013 with a few final tour dates, fans who aren’t geographically blessed enough to catch Hernandez and the band on stage still have something to anticipate with Demons, the five-song EP set for release this month.

This is my take on Ed Sheeran's song, "Give Me Love." It's quite different from the original but it was really fun to mess around with. He is extremely talented.
