I’ve seen a lot of people (me included) headcanon that Shauna is really good at english/literature though her handwriting is terrible, but I think it would be the funniest shit ever if she sucked at it in school, cause, y'know… no teacher can read what she writes. especially in tests or essays.
like she's all proud about a new essay where she cited a classic author she likes (and definitely feels superior for it) just to end up with a C- or a D and JACKIE gets a better grade than her. Okay, Shauna gets petty, but ignores it, maybe the teacher just favored her for being the team captain like happens with the boys, whatever.
but then later they're all talking in the changing room and she discovers that Nat got a better grade than her. Natalie fucking Scatorccio who barely shows up for class is better in english then her??? No way.
she gets fully furious and if looks could kill, Nat would definitely be dead. Shauna pushes her against a locker, snarling:
“How did you do that?”
“Idk, maybe the teacher could actually read my work and that helped.”

I love to write dynamics where the characters are so down bad for eachother that they think their crush/partner is so cool when actually them both are just losers.
