A scenario of the El Masters being jealous of their S/O who plays Otome games please!
“What is that?” Denif asks. You hide your phone against your chest.
“Um, nothing?”
Denif turns to you, golden eyes narrowing in suspicion. “Nothing?”
You squeak. He crosses the room and carefully pries your phone away, staring at the picture.
“Hmm,” he says.
You grimace.
“Should I be worried?” he asks finally, looking to you. You shake your head.
“Then I won’t be.” He gives your phone back to you and pats your head. “What you do in your spare time is none of my business unless you want it to be.”
He’s… surprisingly chill about this, actually. It’s kind of concerning.
Ebalon doesn’t even bother asking. He just does that ghost thing where you don’t notice he’s there until he’s standing over your shoulder, his breath hot on your ear, watching you select conversation options. When you jump in surprise, you hit his chin with your shoulder.
“Sorry!” you yelp, turning around to him. “Don’t do that!”
“Hmm.” Ebalon stands straight, rubbing his bruised chin. “What are you playing?”
“A game.” You turn your phone face-down. Ebalon gives you a very unconvinced look.
“A game.”
“It has a good story?” you try. At that, Ebalon’s face relaxes and he shrugs.
“As long as you’re just playing it for the story, it’s okay.”
“It’s unfair,” Ventus whines as he flops down next to you and stares at your phone. You take a breath, ready to convince him that you still love him and you just play these games for the storyline, but-
“How come you get to date beautiful boys and I don’t?”
You sputter. Lincy hits him. Ventus pokes at your phone screen.
“You don’t think I’m beautiful?” you manage after a good fifteen seconds. Ventus kisses your temple.
“Of course you are! But those are anime boys. They’re out of your league, honey.”
You would be totally justified in slapping him right now.
“I remember this game,” says Solace as he watches you play. There’s no point in trying to hide it from him. He’s been watching you for the past five minutes.
“Yeah?” you ask. He nods.
“I learned how to be romantic from it.”
You choke on nothing. Solace waits for you to recover.
“You played this game?” you finally sputter out. Solace nods.
“Of course. No matter what questionable decisions you have to make, the characters are compelling and there’s a semblance of plotline.”
Apparently, there are a lot of things you don’t know about your boyfriend.
