Orange - What are some of your comfort foods?

“Uhhhhhh…shoot. I mean…growing up I was on my own mostly, a lot of the food I ‘cooked’ just wound up horribly burnt or not cooked right so I’ve had a lotta hard meals to swallow. But…probably apples…I’d come across them once in a while in my wanderin’...and since you c’n eat’em raw I couldn’t ruin them with cookin’. They were welcome treats between weeks, months, and years of misery. That, and barbecued meat that I got to try eventually…so probably apples and barbecued meat. Ooo...maybe I’ll ask Khallalh to combine them somehow for dinner later...” he grins, looking into the distance thinking about it.

😬 - do they have a tell when lying/bluffing?

it’s very small, but huong sharply exhales through her nose after she bluffs. her kids have never figured it out and she doesn’t even realize it herself, but her husband always noticed.

she could never figure out how he was so good at poker 🤔

😷 - what are they like when they're sick? (needy, self-isolating, try to power through, etc)

when she was younger, huong was the most stubborn performer in the circus. she would insist on performing even when she was sick because she loved to make people, especially kids, smile and didn’t want to disappoint anyone. she had to learn the hard way that performing while sick was only going to make things worse for herself in the long run.

now that she’s older, huong will gladly take the day off to eat spicy noodle soup and drink tea in bed (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡

👣 - what do their footsteps sound like? Could anyone recognize them from that sound alone?

prun’s footsteps are heavy and fast-paced, so yes, you could recognize them relatively easily. he does know how to sneak around tho

aurelia is an older cat, so her footsteps are slow, and drag across the floor. you’d be able to tell her apart very easily.

20. When they’re running late

Ford is frantic. Due to the fact he loves them lie-ins and would happily doze all day in bed, and the whole Commander/Vigil thing, he’s had to book it more times than an asura can count.

He will usually forget something, or miss some form of transit cuz he’ll always think he has more time than he has then BAM, he’s high key panicking and frantically sorting through items, throwing on clothes, there’s a cat being shooed out the way, he’s practically falling off his mount trying to do up the saddle while shoveling food in his mouth. Ya man is the definition of frantic and will be yelling apologies for the rest of the day 

Still won’t get out of bed early though

No need fussin’ wit’ unnecessary woes.” he says with a definitive nod before pausing, “Ah...but I’d be lyin’if’n I din’t say me pride’n’joy frequently messes about in m’noggin’...I miss th’lad dearly. I do hope he joins me on another adventure soon...”
