Ulyaoth, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem

Still remains of my favorite video games of all time. It’s a damned shame when a quality developer’s work, even with all of the publicity and helping hand of Nintendo and the WWE, the sales of the game could not make it an established franchise. Nintendo is sitting on this IP with no real means to bring the game series back from the dead, and with Silicon Knights defunct, one can only hope that it’s successor, Precursor Games, or another internal development studio can bring this game back to light..or let it fester in the dark.

This was Nintendo’s first M-rated game that garnered massive praise, and yet the call for a sequel seems to be a bit out of the loop. Here is hoping that Retro Studios or another developer can revive this classic and do the series justice.
