I need a Final Fantasy theme park like I need oxygen, but I need an Avatar theme park even more than that. Get that Potter shit out of Universal, let me fly on a sky bison and pretend I can firebend and drink Iroh’s jasmine tea.
this morning i got a spam call that just played clown waiting music for a few seconds and then hung up on me. which really pissed me off a lot
looking for a job and hoping for a callback only to get clownrolled is insane

Okay but I just really need to add these because Tifa in Han's outfits is a LOOK:
I love it when you can refer to major spoilers from things by saying That Scene. Love it when there's something so iconic that everyone who knows the thing knows what you mean when you say it in a given context without you needing to worry about spoiling people who don't already know it.
I keep laughing at this screencap I took of a comment in the world cup subreddit btw

Spoiler-tagging this, but also putting thoughts under a "keep reading". The thing that hurts worst about last week's X-Men '97...
isn't even Erik's death in and of itself, it's the fact that it puts me in such a conflicted position. Because on the one hand, I want him to stay dead because I (generally) hate the magical resurrection trope, but on the other hand, he's my favorite and I want more of him always. There are certainly ways to justify magical resurrection, if you use it very sparingly (meaning once per story, I'm serious, unless the concept of the story is built around the trope) and if you commit to there being consequences. And that could happen in this case, but since superhero stories are so cavalier with this shitty trope, anything X-Men is already on thin ice, and even if it were justified I'd probably still have mixed feelings about it. Also, they already did a fake-out death with him last season, although that one was always suspect because his "death" was less definitive than Remy's, and I figured they wouldn't kill off two (un-paired) main characters in the same episode, especially not so soon into the revival.
X-Men '97 Opening Credits Season 1 & Season 2
This is an extremely dumb thing to care so much about, but it really bothers me when people refer to characters as "the Vegeta" when they are very clearly "the Sasuke". Enemy-turned-reluctant-ally and rival-turned-temporarily-evil are completely different archetypes.
To spell it out more specifically, STOP CALLING RIKU THE VEGETA TO SORA'S GOKU, HE IS SASUKE AND YOU ARE WRONG.
Edit: Ditto with comparing Riku to Shadow the Hedgehog, because Shadow actually is the Vegeta archetype.

why aren’t people making deceptively amateur found footage horror movies and then burning them onto dvds and leaving them places
never mind this is the same instinct that almost got me kicked out of church camp
I could’ve sworn I’ve told this story before but the tldr is that when I was 12 I went to a christian summer camp and thought it would be a great idea to write fictional diary pages from a missing camper and hide them around the campgrounds as some sort of interactive epistolary horror story. the counselors found these pages and especially did not like all the stuff about demons. they proceeded to shut down the activities of the whole camp and force us all to search each other’s stuff. I pretended to search along with everyone else until I finally burst into tears and confessed. they had a long conversation with me about sin
