Day 8: Storm (Part 2)
(Prompts belong to @oc-growth-and-development ^^)
“You... have a boyfriend...?” CJ also asked confusingly.
“Look! He just showed up!” Margaret announced as she pointed to a white van that belonged to a news anchor.
“Yowza!” he exclaimed as he locked his car, “Should’ve grabbed my windbreaker off the sailboat!”
“Weekend sports anchor Del Hanlon?!” Rigby gasped in amazement.
“Hey Eileen!” Del greeted.
“Hey,” Eileen casually greeted back as Rigby looked at her, surprised that they both know each other.
“Heyyy, Margaret!” Del called up to Margaret from below.
Mordecai just looked shocked before he turned around and groaned to himself.
“There’s nothing to be upset about here,” Margaret stated to CJ, who was still in her storm cloud form.
“But... you...” CJ stuttered, starting to realize what she’s done, “so you don’t...?”
The rain finally stopped, along with the winds, and the clouds dispersed from the blue sky. CJ started to float back down, going back into her clothes until she was back to her normal form.
“Oh no...” she fretted with shame before covering her eyes.
Mordecai flipped the switch for the “Auto-Land,” and Chopper 6 landed safely on the ground, but not before Margaret got off and ran to Del, and they greeted and hugged each other.
“All the cake’s gone, but we still have some snacks,” Margaret said.
“Oooh, that’s okay,” Del dismissed, “I don’t pollute my body to refined sugars anyway.”
Suddenly, with his body in a shade of red, Benson let out a yell of rage as he stormed up to CJ, startling her. “WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” he barked.
“Whoa!” CJ sweated, “Benson, I’m sorry about all this...!”
“Sorry?!” Benson snorted, “Sorry doesn’t cut THIS! You ruined EVERYTHING, and I think you just broke my girlfriend’s arm from your damn tirade!!”
“Benson!” Tia called out, “Don’t worry about it. I’ll take care of it. Just go make sure everyone else is okay.”
“But Tia, she—“
“I said go!” Tia hissed, before making her tone a little softer, “Please. I’m mad too, but I don’t wanna take my anger out on you.”
Benson blinked at her for a second, then nodded in affirmative and walked away, giving CJ another glare as he went past them.
“CJ,” Tia started as she tried to cross her arms, but stopped from the pain in her left arm, “Words- no, sounds can’t even describe how disappointed I am with you. Very disappointed.”
“Tia, I-I’m sorry about everything,” CJ conceded, “I know I messed up, and I won’t do that again, I—”
“No! Stop!” Tia snapped, “Just stop it, CJ! I don’t wanna hear that bullshit excuse anymore! Because every time you say that, you still do it anyway! Why is it so damn hard for you to get the fact that Mordecai and Margaret are done?! That they moved on with their lives?!"
When CJ stayed quiet, Tia continued on, “You knew from the get-go that they weren’t dating, but no; you just wanna hang on to that one fucking memory, which happened like, what? MONTHS ago! I’ve worked my ass off trying to persuade you to at least talk to Margaret, trying to break the ice with her, but no! Every time you see her, with or without Mordecai, it’s always the same damn episode! But this... this is the straw that broke the camel’s back. Or in this case, my arm.”
CJ winced from the sheer emphasis Tia put on “arm,” before Tia continued to yell, “And you have some nerve saying that you trusted Mordecai, but in reality, I can’t even trust YOU not to make the same fucking boner again and again and AGAIN! And now the party is ruined because of your toxic jealousy over Mordecai, which is pretty much for nothing at all! And I don’t know why he should be sorry for anything when you’re the one causing trouble! Not only did you almost kill Margaret’s parents- well, you almost killed everybody on the ground, but you also nearly killed my STEPDAD, CJ! MY STEPDAD!! Oh! And how about we mention that you called Margaret a maneater in front of Eileen! She’s Margaret’s friend! I’M Margaret’s friend! Why can’t you be friends with her too?!”
CJ looked at the mess she’s made from her thunderous temper and hung her head down in guilt. Tia could feel a headache coming from all the yelling and she clutched her head with her right hand.
“Dude, Tia,” Mordecai tried to calm Tia down, “just calm down; it happens.”
“Don’t tell me what to do when you can’t even spit facts at her for what she’s done!” Tia lashed out, sounding like she was gonna cry any minute, “I shouldn’t have to do this for you myself!”
Without any more words, Mordecai stepped off and Tia was breathing heavily, wiping off the tears that streamed down her face. Benson carefully approached her and slowly wrapped his arms around her for a hug.
“Tia...” CJ tried to say, but Tia’s ears flattened at her voice.
“Don’t... say... anything,” Tia hissed in a low voice, “I’m so done with you and your bullshit.”
“Tia, I’m sorry!” CJ pleaded, “Please just give me another chance!”
“Fuck no!” Tia denied harshly, “You had all the chances to get along with Margaret, and you blew them by only avoiding her or trying to kill her! And if you really were Eileen’s friend, or my friend, you’d suck it up and be friends with Margaret from the start, after you took your mind off the Christmas incident! I’m done talking to you!”
“B-But I am your friend!” CJ worried as she was on the verge of tears as well.
“Not anymore,” Tia growled, “I really thought that time at the beach bonfire was the time that you and Margaret finally made up, but then I realized something... you can’t always get what you want. So if you can’t be friends with Margaret, then I don’t see any reason why I should keep being friends with you!”
She wiped off more of her tears and turned her back on CJ and left with Benson to the car.
“We gotta check my arm out,” Tia grumbled, “I think it might be broken… like my heart...”
“Everything will be okay,” Benson reassured and kissed Tia’s cheek.
“I hope so...” Tia replied before they went in the car and drove off.

Day 8: Storm (Part 1)
(Prompts belong to @oc-growth-and-development ^^)
“Mordecai?” Dumbstruck, CJ saw him on Chopper 6 with Margaret as they laughed together as the chopper flew in a circle in one spot. Tia looked at CJ’s expression, then back at the chopper through her binoculars and her ears went back with worry. “Oh no...” she thought to herself, “Please don’t get the wrong impression again.” Ever since the Christmas incident, CJ felt like she has some beef with Margaret, with the exception of begrudgingly calling her for help when the sea turtles were being held against their will at the shore by the Youth Topia jerks. But that hasn’t stopped CJ from instantly jumping to conclusions about Mordecai and Margaret, even though she’s been told a lot of times. Now she came back to the 1000th Chopper Flight Party from cleaning a river with her friends and saw the pair together again, getting that same feeling again. On the chopper, Mordecai looked down and saw CJ on the ground, looking devastated. “Uh... I can’t be here,” he said nervously to Margaret, “I-I gotta hang with CJ.” He fumbled with his seat belt as Margaret looked at him worriedly. When Mordecai got his seat belt off, he stood up and tried to shout out to CJ in an attempt to weaken the tension. “CJ! Hi!” he yelled out, but then Chopper 6 jerked a little bit, making him lose his balance and accidentally fell on Margaret’s lap. “Oh, COME ON!” The incoming anger in CJ’s voice was a signal to Tia; a signal of something that’s about to go down. She saw CJ turning gray and attempted to calm her down by blocking the chopper from her sight and talking some sense to her. “CJ, no!” Tia pleaded, “It’s not what it looks like! Mordecai just lost his balance!” “Yeah right!” CJ fumed, “Why else would he be up there with that maneater?!”
Eileen gasped a little in shock when CJ said that. “But she’s my friend...” she thought sadly.
“Dude, I’m the one with the binoculars!” Tia pointed out, “I know what’s going on!” “So do I! Now move!” Then CJ shoved Tia out of the way, much to the feline’s shock, and looked up angrily at Mordecai as she felt herself changing. “Did you think I wouldn’t find out?!” she thundered as she turned into a full on storm cloud, “That you could just make a fool of me forever?! This is the LAST TIME!!” Once she grew bigger than Chopper 6, winds howled, rain poured down, and bolts of lightning struck the ground, and the camera crew was recording the whole thing. “Are you getting this Glen?” one guy asked before the camera crew ran towards the scene. “No, no, no!” Tia screamed in her head, “This is not how I wanted this party to go!” She just wanted a nice day at the party with Benson, who came as a guest from the invitation, and CJ just comes to ruin it because of her jealousy and possessiveness over Mordecai. Earlier, Tia even tried to persuade Margaret’s dad, Frank, to get Jackie Carmichael to go in the extra seat instead of Mordecai, just in case anything like this was bound to happen. But no, Frank insisted that the blue jay should go anyway because he’s “family.” And the fact that her stepdad, Clyde Mitchell, was in the chopper with Frank as well, it scared her to even think about what would happen to him. “Tia!” The feline heard Benson shout out her name as he struggled to walk against the powerful winds towards her. “Benson!” Tia yowled as she ran towards her boyfriend and held his hand so that he wouldn’t blow away in the wind. “Tia, what the hell is going on with Dodgeball Girl?!” Benson queried, shouting over the winds while he pointed at CJ. The raging cloud roared and blasted more winds, shaking the chopper like crazy. “CJ, it’s not what you think!” Mordecai tried to negotiate with his girlfriend, “There was an extra seat!” “She took things the wrong way again!” Tia replied to Benson, “She thinks Mordecai and Margaret are dating again, even though he told her multiple times that they were done!” “What?!” Benson gaped. “We need to calm her down before she seriously hurts someone!” CJ shot out a bolt of lightning at a tree, splintering it before it creaked slowly down towards Jackie Carmichael. Acting fast, Tia ran on all fours and pushed her out of the way before the tree hit the ground. “You okay, Jackie?” she questioned.
