I recently ordered in some missed items ready for Jul. I'm so happy with these. I can't wait to eat them in December!
I can't wait to eat them in December!
Anna's Pepparkakor - Amazing ginger biscuits. I hate ginger, but these are amazing.
Renkorv Bokspånsrökt - Tasty reindeer salami sausage. Me and the Mister are rather partial.
Julmust - A must have for Jul! I can taste it already.
Ekströms Nyponsoppa - A rosehip drink that is great warmed up during winter. Its packed with vitamins.
Karl Fazer Chokladpraliner - These are some of our favourite chocolates. The last time we got to eat any we were in the hills at night near Saariselka enjoying a horse sleigh ride before heading home. Greatly missed these!
ABBA Earl Grey Citrus & Honung - We haven't tried these, so it'll be fun to see what they are like. We adore Herring and Earl Grey, so fingers crossed they are as good as they sound!
Gudbrandsdalen Brunost - The Mister absolutely lovee this stuff, so I had to get some in. Brown cheese made from a mix of cows cream and goats milk.
Haribo Piratos Salty Licorice Coins - For the Mister who absolutely loves salted licorice and all things Salmiak.
and
Blå Band Gräddsås - The best cream sauce to go with meatballs ever!

“ 'Breath of the Seasons' has been my personal project from early 2017 until early 2020. Living around the Jutland peninsula in Denmark my entire life, what inspired me to make this film was the very difference between winter, spring, summer and autumn in the already diverse Jutlandic landscapes - and the visually beautiful story this has. To show this cycle in nature through timelapse photography has been a mammoth task and a huge completion for me personally. It has driven me through all spectres emotionally; exhaustion, excitement, despair, joy and everything in between. The countless hours spent on locations made me see and feel the difference of all four seasons. It opened my eyes to how similar nature actually is to humans; As nature takes a single breath all four seasons play before our eyes until she’s ready for the next breath and it all starts over again. Energy is everywhere and nothing is at a standstill. “
Anna Ancher - Blue Clematis in the Artist's Studio, 1913, oil on canvas Anna Ancher (née Brøndum; 1859 – 1935) was a Danish visual artist who worked with oil and pastel. Anna was born and raised in the remote fishing settlement of Skagen, the northernmost part of Denmark. Anna integrated the training and influences she had acquired while abroad with the local subjects and scenery of Skagen. Anna was masterful in observing natural light and made bold choices in colour. She experimented with the simplification of subjects and backgrounds, and the integration of shadows and reflected light. She drew and painted the local people in their homes, gardens and places of work. Her friendships and familiarity with the locals enabled an intamacy to shine through her works.
If the weather was more like this most of the time, I would like this country a lot more 😂🙏🏼
