23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it. I’m gonna go with one I’ve written this year, because my brain just stops working if I think past that D: I’m really fond of The Wings That You Burn, which I wrote as a treat for Chocolate Box this year. I absolutely love World of Ruin territory in FFVI and wanted to write something that focused on the bond Celes and Sabin formed. I realized while writing how very little the two of them interact in game and what that would mean for Celes, who is still recovering from the event on the Solitary Island. It always broke my heart that Celes never given a moment to heal from all of that, so I wanted to explore that. It’s a super feelsfest of a fic, but ends on a hopeful note and I’m really pleased with it :D

27. What do you hate more: Coming up with titles or writing summaries? COMING UP WITH TITLES HANDS DOWN D: vast majority of my titles are from song lyrics and even then it’s just... SO HARD!! I used to struggle with summaries, but that’s gotten easier over time with some practice. Geez, just wish I could say the same with titles D:

36. What’s your favourite genre to write? Does hurt/comfort count as a genre? Or mutual pining? Bonus points if they’re together? :3c tropey bits aside, I love to write horror, though isn’t something that’s always common in my fics. I have a handful of darker stories, though. It’s just not something most people look for in fics, though I do try to include horror elements/themes when I can - if it’s relevant to the story.

unpopular opinion: ffx-2 was a really nice break from what was becoming a somewhat dark, kinda depressing game series. While X-2 does have dark elements to it, the more 'open world', side quest vibe the game gave off was rather refreshing and a well deserved break from the rest of the games.

Wakka's character development throughout the story-lines of X and X-2 is probably one of the few things that gets overlooked about the games.

I've never actually finished XII. I started playing it when I was about 11 and then I think I got bored and stopped playing. But I've picked it up several times throughout the years and never gotten all the way through it. Though recently I've really wanted to sit down and play all the way through it because I remember kinda enjoying it. But SOON I SHALL COMPLETE IT. SOON.
