☂: five favorite books – I always love seeing book recommendations!

Just so you know…like music…I read so many things. These are just the ones that stand out the most.

Memoirs of a Geisha  by Arthur Golden (My absolute favorite of all time. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve read it and it never gets old!)

A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin (I’ve read a little bit of it but I’m waiting to enjoy most of it once the show ends so I don’t confuse the differences. But so far so good.)

Ready Player One by Earnest Cline (This one I have started reading slowly after watching the movie. I’m a nerd and this is nerdtopia. -Nods-)

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks (I cry every time I read this one. Nicholas Sparks and all his novels are a m a z i n g. It takes me back to my childhood, really.)

Carrie by Stephen King (The only novel of his I ever read. Not entirely one for his genre, but I finished it in a couple of days–couldn’t put it down.)

[ oooo i saw the video too, i had no idea people were modding ffx, that’s news to me !  GOTH TIDUS IM HHHHHHHH throwing punches. good. ultimania never specifies what plumber tidus had his hair like, but i knew of his ‘darker’ palette Beta design, so I wouldn’t be surprised it’d have looked similar to that. definitely more similar to jecht ! ]

Ever since the start, he had hoped. Prayed wouldn’t be the right term, but it did feel quite similar at the end of the day; he had dreamed of a way back, spent nights hypothesizing of Sin taking him back the same way he had once brought him to Spira -- but after the blitzball tournament and having met Auron in Luca, the dream had shattered. The truth hit him, to leave him stunned, more confused and somehow skeptical too; it hadn’t lasted much, but from that moment onward, the thought of going home had disappeared, faded away. He had accepted, sure of finding a new home in that reality.

And still, despite the dream to go back his first home had faded away and truly disappeared for good the moment its creator was defeated, the bittersweet longing did lie, silent, quiet as if just asleep, deep inside his soul.  ❛ I do. ❜  he had to be honest, for himself and for the situation as well. The terror he might have, someday in the future, forgotten what his Zanarkand looked like did haunt me, often too; childish as a thought, but terrible per se. After all, the separation had been traumatic, to say the least.   ❛ I mean... perhaps I once did. ❜

A moment he was home, there in the pool to give his fans a good show and prove them just how strong he could be, and the next he found himself alone, hungry, cold, lost, in a world that took a while before feeling like his new home. And while the company he found was enjoyable, warm and ready to be there for him whenever he felt in need, Tidus had one regret; had he got a chance to return home, even just temporarily, he’d have enjoyed the city a lot more before parting. Given Zanarkand a last, long look -- just like Yuna would do, he remembered, when leaving a town behind, during the pilgrimage.

❛ I would’ve liked to go back, even for a moment, maybe to say goodbye to a few... things, places or people. ❜  but none of those were ever real -- and he knew it. Life, the true one, was where he was.  ❛ I know it may sound wrong. It’s a regret that belongs to the past, that’s all. ❜

(B) She adores flowers! Her favorite is probably cherry blossoms, moonlilies & hibiscus, though. But....she accepts all kinds!

(J) Not easily. When she enters into a relationship, it’s not taken lightly; establishing that her partner cares for her just as she does them generally makes her feel secure enough. But she can  grow a bit jealous. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to feel that way, though. And when she does, it’s not a harmful or toxic type of jealousy. Usually...all it takes is a bit of reaffirmation & all is well again.

(M) Somewhere quiet & isolated. She’s a private person. A walk on the beach, or dining out in a small place. Doesn’t take much to please her at all. If she’s with the person she loves? That’s all that matters.

(X) She does! Often times she won’t solely refer to her significant other by a pet name, but doesn’t mind at all if they do.  To have a name picked out just  for her, or selecting one for her partner is endearing & makes her so happy. Not to mention...makes her feel special!

No, not at all. She’s extremely monogamous and private in terms of what goes on behind closed doors. And, in her own way, a jealous/possessive partner. Not in a creepy or harmful/toxic way, of course! Just…she wants to be faithful and loyal and expects her lover to return the favor in kind. 

💔 What was my muse’s first heartbreak?

When she was young–a wee little itty bitty. There was a boy around her age she had a cute little crush on. But once her father fell from the temple’s graces, that same boy told her he couldn’t play with her–that his parents said it wasn’t ‘appropriate’ for Yevonite’s to mingle with someone like herself (as she’s of mixed descent)  He was polite about it, as polite as a child of five or six could be, but it still broke her innocent little heart. And that night, her father would have to explain what no child of such a tender age should have to be made aware of: the unfair segregation of Al Bhed’s and Yevonite’s, and what that would mean for her going forward in life. A valuable lesson learned, which is one of the reasons she chose to hide her heritage from even those she trusted with her life. 

👓 Would my muse ever lie for sex? 

Maybe?  She wouldn’t tell a huge lie or anything, but…if she was desperate enough? Yeah…I think she would, lol!

Have you ever considered an AU team-up with a non FF character, such as Lara Croft? It would be an interesting pairing!

Ummm…The closest would be Jon Snow in recent memory. I’ve interacted with a few I’m sure, but that’s the first one that comes to mind. Though! Lara would be pretty interesting like you said! I’d love to do so if people seem keen on the idea.
