hi, i'm denseboy!

i'm a bi and trans black man, and for the past few years, music has been my favorite way to express the things i didn't think anyone else could relate to.

i've covered songs by other people on youtube, but most importantly, i love making my own music.

last year i finally released some songs of mine, and something really cool i've found is that people actually like listening to it. and now it's kind of something i want to do forever.

it would mean a lot if you could help support more LGBTQ+ musicians like me by listening to my music, and spreading the word around!

idk how many of my subscribers actually follow me on tumblr but rn it's the social media app i use the most, so a lot of my updates will end up here!!

as for an update:

i finally finished my college stuff. i know where i'm going to college and i'm overwhelmingly happy about it!! the whole process has been a major source of anxiety & stress for me but hey! the worst of it is over :)

mentally i'm getting some help to deal with my executive dysfunction, fatigue, etc. so we'll see how that works out. but i am slowly gaining energy to get out of bed and do things again (including hopefully answering my messages) which i'm really grateful for

i'm supposed to graduate soon, but i still have to make up a ton of coursework as a result of falling behind. that's probably the most pressing matter :.)

i'm working on some music :3 but i'm a little bummed it's taken me so long to put stuff together. still not sure when i'm releasing anything, but i'm making a bit of progress! unfortunately i hit a creative block earlier this year and even though i wanted it to be, my music just hasn't been a priority while i've been dealing with everything else.

overall i'd hoped i would've gotten my life together by now but that is clearly not the case- despite that, things are looking up and i am starting to feel a little more okay again.
