Sometimes I wonder if the dentist can somehow TELL I've brushed my teeth like 6 times that day before the appointment, in the hope he will keep his holier-than-thou comments to himself

Atsushi Headcanons (mostly dentist related) because I'm upset from going to the dentist
Atsushi hates the dentist.
He thinks it may have to do with his time at the orphanage, the experiments Shibusawa did on him, or it could be because he feels trapped.
He has bitten the dentist/dentist assistant before because he was panicked
Dazai goes in with him and holds his hand during the checkup, the dentists don't mind because they're not getting bitten
After the appointment, Dazai takes Atsushi to get a stuffed animal or snacks
Will add more later probably
When someone sits down in my chair and the first thing they say is: "I hate the Dentist". What! Really? Did your parents not teach you manners? Or even tell you that its impolite to tell someone you hate them the moment you meet them? What I really want to say back is, "Awe, I hate you too." And then I begin my angry work. ..........Dear world, dentists have feelings too!

Last year I wrote about how positive feedback is brilliant. In fact, the original post was about how I was putting off going to the dentist because of all of the criticism that you cop with every visit.
You see, the dentist is just an expensive way of being criticised and tortured.
Incidentally, I still haven't got around to going.
But here's my point: I criticised the police for only dishing out negativity (in the form of fines), and suggested that they try a more positive approach.
Little did I know, my nearest capital city had just spent half a million dollars buying signs that give drivers a smiley face if they're doing the right speed!
That's right folks. $500,000 for some smiley face signs.
Not quite what I expected, but sometimes progress comes in small, $500,000 packages.
half of my face is swollen, I HATE DENTISTS!
Dentist in 6 hours! To be honest, I really don't want to go because that lady murders my gums every time :(
