Because this comes up on every poll involving continents: yes, there are several different ways to delineate the Americas. Yes, there is debate as to whether Central America is part of North America, should be grouped with South America to draw a distinction from the US and Canada, should be considered an entirely separate entity, etc. Tumblr polls only allow for 12 options which means it can't be its own category. James froze mid chew and his eyes went wide as he stared across the table at Sirius, who had also frozen.

“Er, Prongs, that sounded really bad. Was that your tooth?”

James nodded and before his brain could do something stupid, like tell his mouth to swallow, he grabbed a napkin from the middle of the table and spat out the contents.

Dropping into the napkin with some half chewed toast, was what looked suspiciously like a tooth. Or, more accurately, part of a tooth.

“Well, shit.” He muttered.

James, like most normal human beings, in his humble opinion, hated going to the dentist and had he been sat having breakfast by himself, there's a strong chance he would have pretended it hadn't happened. But, Sirius was sat opposite him, giving him a knowing look.

“What are the chances I can convince you to ignore everything you just heard and saw and not tell Reg?” James practically begged.

“Mate, there is no way I am helping you lie to him! I swear he has magic powers, he'll know we're lying instantly and then he'll kill us both.” Sirius laughed. “You're just gonna have to suck it up and get an emergency appointment to get it fixed.”

James groaned and dropped his head to the kitchen table.

2 days later, James was starting to admit he might actually need tomorrow's appointment. The pain was becoming unbearable.

Regulus had come over with some of the strongest painkillers he could get over the counter and had taken a half day at work the next day to take James to his appointment. He had been told he was likely going to need some work done and wouldn't be able to drive because of the nitrous oxide they would administer.

James spent most of the night awake and fretting. Each time he woke up, Regulus stroked his hair and held him until he would drift off again. James was extra grateful for having such a caring and patient partner.

The next morning, an exhausted James and Regulus, were sat in the waiting room, waiting for James to be called through.

When a very bubbly looking nurse came to get him, James looked like he was going to be sick.

“I'll be right here,” Regulus soothed, as he rubbed his thumb over the back of James’ hand. “And as soon as you're done, we're heading straight home and can get back into bed and watch as many episodes of Time Team as you want. Alright?”

James nodded and Regulus kissed him on the good cheek.

James stood up and followed the nurse into the dental surgery.

An hour later, a very groggy James was being helped into the passenger seat of Regulus’ car. Mumbling around the cotton wool pads he had stuck in his mouth still.

As Regulus got into the car, James was staring, wide eyed at him.

“Jamie, is everything alright sweetheart?” The last thing Regulus needed was for James to start vomiting. He always had varying reactions to different anesthetics.

“Are you an angel?” James asked softly.

Regulus stifled a laugh. “Sorry?”

“You look like an angel.” James breathed out. “Are you married?”

“No, I'm not. But I do have a boyfriend I'm quite fond of.” Regulus replied, desperately trying to hold in his laughter. He had to remind himself it wasn't James’ fault…but still.

“Pft. If you were my boyfriend, I'd marry you.” Regulus couldn't help the huge grin that spread across his face. “I think it would be really cool to be married to a real angel. You should make sure your boyfriend knows that. I could fight him for your hand.”

“I'll be sure to let him know,” Regulus managed to get out without laughing too hard.

“Good!” James was asleep 3 seconds later.

2 years later, Reg told the story of how James had actually proposed twice and much to James’ chagrin and everyone else's delight, played the video footage of that first, and secretly favourite, proposal.

April 11th: Do you find doctor's/dentist's/etc appointments difficult as an autistic person? Why? Do you have trouble booking appointments or managing insurance? Do you have someone that helps with this? Do you have someone come to appointments to help advocate for you?

Pixie not at all able do anything related to medical things . Guardians and caregivers handle all medical things for Pixie . Like . Finding appropriate medical Professionals , making appointments , talking and answering questions , schedule exams and tests , prescriptions , health insurance coverage , transportation , and everything else .

Pixie not can do any of that , need other people to do all that or it just not get done at all . Why is because Pixies medical stuff very much too complicated for Pixie to understand .

And . All medical stuff require much much much better communication skills than Pixie is capable of .

Also . All medical stuff require much better interoception ability than Pixie have . So . Pixie also need help like . finding out whether medicine is useful or working . If have bad side effects . If have new medical problems . All that require outside intervention , observation , help . Because . Pixie not can tell much about Pixie body .
