Thank you so much to @essence for trusting me with the honor of hosting Black Women in Hollywood this year. Watching the team bring such a beautiful production together was truly special.

A big thank you to MVD Inc., two incredible Black women behind the scenes making it all happen, and to Richelieu, Rakia, Darron and the entire Essence family for seeing me and giving me the space to step into something new. Hosting has always been something I’ve wanted to do, and Essence felt like the perfect place to do it. Thankful to God for an opportunity that felt so aligned.

To the women of Black Hollywood in that room, thank you for the love and warmth you brought into the space. I appreciate y’all for giving me the freedom to just be myself and enjoy the moment.

To my glam team, @bryonjavar @dianashin @iamhairbyhe thank you for making sure I looked good while I stayed locked in on my duties. And to my momma, my writing partner, thank you for the late nights, the script revisions, and the ideas that helped make this year feel special.
