cooking some egregious dipford. my spouse INSISTS there is an audience for such things.
the story is told through a combination of journal entries, letters, and answering machine messages. an alternate timeline where the mystery twins were separated -- their parents having divorced, mabel lives with their dad in seattle and dipper is studying with ford. stan lost the mystery shack and is exiled to a retirement community that he hates, and ford is an arrogant jackass that's so full of himself he doesn't even realize he's falling into an incredibly obvious trap set by a particularly rancid triangle. he's been mentoring dipper for 4 years, and both of them are also working to rid gravity falls of bill's essence for good.
this thing is gonna have a ... lot. we have dipford as a primary feature here, but importantly: bipford as well. extremely heavily implied unrequited pinecest is also a driving force of this narrative, and unrequited stancest too because everyone in this story is miserable and nobody is coping.
i'm putting out this feeler to gauge interest. the first chapter is already written and most of the second one is as well. no matter what i'm gonna write this, i kinda need to see how it ends because right now i don't know and it's really awful for everybody, but if there's enough interest i'll post it here. sound off with some likes if this is the kind of tragic angst bucket you'd like to wallow in with me.
