Slumber tonight did not seem to bode well for him, since he could not place himself in a comfortable position. Tonight, he would have to be accompanied by restlessness and not the sandman, it seemed. Bothered, yet he did not voice or think of any complaint. This had become quite common to him since years back.
Lightly brushing the messy locks of his temple, and fixing the night robe he is currently clad in, he decided to walk out his quarters, taking a simple stroll around the halls. Aside from the guards at the gates, no one else would be awake at this hour. Possibly, Kouen might be in the library and having fun reading more scrolls, yet he does not intend to even speak to his cousin for leisure.
After a turn in a corridor, his eyes spotted a figure illuminated by the moonlight, the said figure resting on the roof and looking up. Hakuryuu immediately knew who it was, and he did not need a second look to be sure. Nevertheless, it was odd for him to still be up, since doesn't he prefer to do such a hobby during only the day?
Strong yet nimble feet slowly started to walk where the other was.
