F A L L E N into depravity.
Sorry I had no activity for weeks; college keeps me busy, with the following week being the exam week. But after that, I have a bit of free time. So like for a starter if we haven't interacted yet.
Hakuryuu's abilities, gained from both his Djinns, are with no doubt, fearsome and destructive in many aspects. And it is to be known that he is the third person to hold more than one Djinn, whether he is aidded by a Magi or not.
Despite this, he is not invinvible. Powerful and hard to defeat, yet he too, has vulnerabilities, and so does the Flame Emperor and the King of the Seven Seas. Like those other two, what keeps them undefeated until this moment is their ruthlessness in their goals, and their efficiency in using their Djinns, depending on the current circumstances in a battle.
Also, Hakuryuu's currently display of strength is a sign of how much he changed from back then, when he could not hold out on his own against the creatures in Zagan's dungeon, and when he would always see himself inferior to Alibaba's strength.
Juhaku Week, Day 6: Change
"We can’t go back to the past"
Hakuryuu never tortures his enemies when he seriously wishes to kill them. He wouldn't waste his time with them, and would prefer to do it quickly, though he would ensure that it will not be painless for them.
When he does decide to torture them, he has another plan for them and decides to try and get them to surrender or drop their blades. And he takes all the pleasure in doing so, but he wouldn't take too long with it; for when he knows he waited enough, Hakuryuu won't hesitate to hack off a limb, or to cut through their gut as a threat of disembowelment.
There are instances that he will torture his enemies simply for the fun of it before going in for the kill, though this sadism is reserved for those people whom he has a personal grudge for.
But make no mistake, while he would feel pleasure in tormenting his enemies, his judgment would not be clouded, nor would he start to be oblivious to his surroundings.
JuHaku Week Day 6: C h a n g e
Juhaku Week, Day 5: the same thing
"he didn’t want to work with people like Kouen or Koumei, so why is he so interested in working with me
Juhaku Week, Day 2: Fate "...it was because he was he and I was I"
Juhaku Week, Day 1: Childhood "You have been a pawn of that woman and that organization from the start" "The same goes for you too, right?
I was their most devoted warrior. A Champion of Light. But I fell. Fell into darkness, and now… I am feared, as The Prince of Darkness.
Ironic, don’t you think?
"I’m gonna punch you in the face and bring you back!"
Alibaba: Shut up! This is what I have decided! I’m gonna punch you in the face and bring you back! Hakuryuu: Bring me back?! Hah, where to?! - MAGI CHAPTER 254
It may not seem like it, although Hakuryuu is far from sexist. Beneath his currently twisted nature, he still upholds the belief that both men and women have equal rights and entitlements, even if they have different goals. To him, neither one of them stands over another. He also loathes it when men belittle women; it also applies the other way around.
That being said, because of that same belief, combined with personal experiences, he will not hesitate to strike women when necessary. Man or woman, as long as they interfere with his goals, then he will fight them, kill them if needed.
