I can feel it freeze my two thumbs.

I don’t mind how it cools my bones,

if only I wasn’t alone.

I try warm my chilly head,

but all I find is an empty bed.

just wish I had someone near.

My mom’s completely shut us out. I’m worried I won’t be able to see her or my dogs again. If my sister manages to get out of there, I could see her, but my dogs...I can’t bring them here. It’s not a safe place for my Beagle; he’s too high-energy and he has three legs and he’s getting older and I don’t want him to hurt himself. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what I CAN do. I don’t want her to shut me out.

I wanted to go home for spring break. So much for that.
