I continually run across client after client that tells me about how they struggle with depression and anxiety. It is so prevalent in this modern society that we live in we almost can't escape it. I'm thoroughly convinced that the majority of the problem stems with a dysfunctional gut period caused from too much glyphosate and antibiotics, and not enough healthy food. The majority of our neurotransmitters are synthesized in the gut lining, therefore if we have a screwed-up got we can't make the precursors to the neurotransmitters that we need to feel good. Share this with anyone who struggles from this debilitating disorder and let them know there are natural solutions to try before just taking a medication. MUSIC FOR ANXIETY
My favorite music for anxiety varies on the level of anxiety I am feeling. I have a Spotify so i often make many playlists that can be used for all emotions. My favorite one that I have made is titled “chill” and it contains artists like Grace Grundy. My favorite two pre-made playlists on Spotify are “Brain Food” and “Mellow Beats.” They can be found under the browse and then in the “mood” sub tab. These playlists contain a variety of artists. These albums are great for anxiety as they are very relaxing and almost hypnotic. I leave these albums on when I get ready in the morning, am doing homework, and even when I smoke. These playlists are soothing and are a great pick for nearly anything. If y’all need further music suggestions please let me know. My “It Will Get Better” Playlist
(In no particular order)
I am a huge music junkie; I don’t listen to music I feel it. Music alters my mood significantly, so if I am listening to really depressing and angry songs that’s the way I am going to feel. When I am feeling like crap and on the brink of crying these are a few of the songs I listen to, they are all positive and empowering. Song lyrics are just poetry set to music and like poetry they make you feel things deep down. If you are a music lover like I am I would definitely make a playlist of songs that are all positive (not necessarily happy) that you can listen to instead of music that makes you want to lay underneath a blanket and cry for hours. What is positive music to me or your best friend might not be positive for you so try to experiment, feel the music and really hear it and see how it affects your mood. Let me know what your “it will get better” songs are, I would love to listen to them!
