How to cope with anxiety
Unfortunately , for many of us school equals stress and anxiety . If you’ωε ever felt so exhausted and stressed to the point where you were unable to do even the simplest tasks YOU ARE NOT ALONE, it’s totally understandable, you don’t have to feel bad about yourself just DON’T let it take over you, just take a deep breath , rest and try harder :)
💐Stop whatever you’re doing and take a small break. During this time,do things that makes you feel secure, carefree and calm (e.g drawing, dancing, singing, jogging ) or do NOTHING at all! Staring at the ceiling can also help you deal with stress you know :)
💐Talk to someone you trust ,it’s better to let anxiety out than keep it inside and pretend you are okay (believe me it only makes it worse...).In case you feel uncomfortable talking to someone, then write your feelings on a diary or draw them.
💐Knowing yourself and your limits can help you see things more realistically and deal with everyday problems easily. SELF-AWARENESS is the key :)
💐Set a daily routine so that you won’t have to worry about time
💐Drink Chamomile tea ☕
💐LAUGH , watch funny videos on yt or a comedy movie, anything that lifts up your mood :)

Habits that help me stay SANE in quarantine
During these strange times of lockdown, a lot of us have been feeling all different kinds of emotions. Some of you might relate to the feeling of disconnection from my everyday life I experienced. I didn't know why I was doing what I was doing anymore and I kind of forgot what my purpose was. Fortunately I found some activities and tips to gain back my excitement about the futur ahead and I wanted to share those in case anyone is struggling with that feeling right now.
Journaling
This is a really basic one but I thought it was still important to mention it. A couple of months into quarantine I started feeling like the days were blurred together and this meant that if something was bothering me one day, it was likely that I would continue worrying about it for several days because I never felt like there was a stopping point in my week or month to reflect on my daily life.
This is why I started journaling every night before bed. For someone that never used to do this growing up it was pretty difficult to keep up with it at first but now when something is bother me during the day, I automatically feel the need to write it in my journal just to let it out and move on the next day.
Walking
Just like journaling, walking helps me clear my mind and destress. If you find yourself overwhelmed with everything going on in your life or in the world in general, going on a walk might be a good idea. It doesn't have to be long, just getting some fresh air can help you a ton.
Creativity
Picking up a new creative hobby can really help not only to make time pass faster, it could also help you destress because it requires some sort of focus. That way you can't think about something else. It is also great if you want to improve your skills in something like drawing, painting, tie-dying shirts, cooking,...
Having a schedule
I'm still in the process of finding balance for this one but I think having a lose schedule is really important. For example, I try to have the same morning and night routines that include all the main habits I need to do to maintain a healthy life and mindset and no slip into a slump which is hard to get out off in these times. Those habits are for example brushing my teeth, taking a shower, eating breakfast, journaling,... Then when I am sure that these are completed, I try to work on other projects. The days I don't go to work, I try to dress like usual and do something productive because that's what is making me feel accomplished.
If you find yourself overthinking a quick way to try to stop the spiral is watching a movie or a Youtube video. I always have a list of movies to watch in case I get a little too stressed.
I hope that these tips can help you not go crazy during these difficult times, if you find yourself in a bad place mentally, please reach out to a professional for help and you can always message me if you need someone to talk to!
