𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠. He knew ever since she admitted it to him and about her past. He understood why she would hate outlaw gangs, but he couldn’t help but feel guilty for the latest bank robbery.
Even if he wasn’t involved, it still affected him. Valentine was her home and now she had to pack up and go somewhere else. He tried both to vouch fro his gang, to make her not as affected, and help her if this wanted.
Sean just didn’t want her to think poorly of him.
❝ It’s just for a short time, you weren’t there right? ❞ this wasn’t helping. It was his poor attempt in comforting her. ❝ The robbery was a small t’ing, the sheriff might be out but that doesn’t mean we’re affected. ❞
He was still with the gang, still supporting them. He knew her worry about him going out and stealing things, how one day he might be killed and never return home. But he couldn’t stop this lifestyle. The gang was his family and this was a wy Sean could help Elizabeth with Alexander. He knew she could raise him on her own, but he wanted to be an involved father-figure in Alexander’s life.
He was talking a lot, the way he could let out his anxiety and concern. He felt like this was one of the worst situations for them. If Elizabeth felt unsafe, an act from his own gang, he wasn’t in the best mood.
❝ Besides we could stay at camp? Where my gang is? Stay for a few days? ❞ Sean was worried about her not finding another house. He knew rent wasn’t cheap. Where else was she going to go? He didn’t want them to stay in a hotel room, if it was all they could afford.

how your muse responds to danger. ( Hewwo I am comin from my goblin cave to send something uwu )
THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT!! IVE BEEN LURKING WITH YA! :3
Headcanon asks: always always accepting
Joseph responds to danger and a delayed way. He rarely feels fear for his own sake but more so the other is around him. I've talked about it a little bit with @sanctitysin before.
The times he feels actual danger is whenever that has to deal with his brothers. His loved ones. He knows that God protects him but he knows that the others aren't. He sees himself as the protector for them. He even hates it when Jacob puts himself in danger.
He responds logically. Or at least he tries to. He tries to take things one step at a time. Never wants to get too far ahead of himself and he tries to sort the problem immediately.
Thank you again for asking!
☺ - What tends to bring out your muse the most? What inspires you?
— meme ; sweet munday questions , accepting. also got this one from @judgedrookie.
joseph isn’t a very easy muse to kick into gear, but he’s always going at the same time. with him, i find it’s easier to just block out the outside world. he doesn’t respond much to music, socialization, film, etc. i’ve got masses of media lined up to use for him, but all of it is to build the knowledge behind the muse rather than to write him. so, for the most part, i just read and study and watch what i can until i get bored, and then i come back here and let him do what he wants. it’s a pain, but once the ball is rolling, my work is done.

an appreciation exists for those that will speak their minds despite a herald being in their presence. paul isn’t here to strike fear into the hearts of those that look to him for guidance and leadership. yet her words set an anger in him that he has to shove down. no. she’s confiding in him and had she spoken to anyone else about her doubts then they’d punish her. who knows how badly. elizabeth is TRUSTING him with this information and he won’t make her regret it.
‘i don’t pretend to know GOD’S plans. all i know is what he’s done. and what he hasn’t is taken free will from men. it’s not his job to give and take. he created us all in his image but he gave us minds for a reason and with that the ability to make our decisions and choices. “ paul can empathize with her situation, he doesn’t know quite what she feels but the idea that god has abandoned them all, therefore might not have been real in the first place isn’t a new thought for him.
“on the brink of suicide, joseph found me at the precise moment that i’d have ended it all. i didn’t believe just like you. that there was nothing left to live for, but divine intervention is the ONLY explanation as i do not believe in tremendous coincidences. i do not know why your child died nor god’s plan for it. i do believe that there is a purpose for everything though. perhaps you just have not found yours yet.”
he stands at her words. he isn’t the type to argue or deny the simplest requests. if she wants him to leave then he shall do so. “everything here is worth believing in even if the actions of those around us aren’t always admirable, elizabeth.”

the fake ears atop his head flop unceremoniously to the side, one of the ears falling in front of his eyes. he frowns, flicking the ear away with a finger. how she’d convinced him of this he isn’t sure. the pastel button up and tie aren’t even the icing on the cake. fake whiskers and a dark bunny nose drawn in eyeliner complete the look. the demon feels stiff, unsure of moving. the ears might go flying off if he does so. dark eyes glare at elizabeth, his frown prevalent. regret is obvious in his eyes.
“ i hate you. ”
