Headcanons for a short s/o / favorite employee for any of these: all sephirah, nothing there, funeral of the dead butterflies, and Der Freischütz? And if you want you can put a favorite of yours in it too!

But my favourites are mostly Birbs so i'll try to mix it up. Also, because i now do separate sephirahs and abnormalities, i'll do it in 2 parts
Abnormalities with short (S/O)
Big and Will Be Bad Wolf (my fav)
•you remind him of a sheep. You are just smol™
•tries not to bite or scratch you, but sometimes it happens. He is a hungry "evil" wolf
•you are the only employee that can sleep on Wolf and use his fur as a pillow/tail as blanket and live
•calls you "pup, sheep, piggy". If he uses anything but pup, he is hungry and you need to feed Wolf first. Just a heads-up
Nothing There (also my fav)
•to be fair, your size doesnt matter for Nothing There as if it wanted, it would had broken its own bones 20 times to fit in your shell
•but it likes you, so you dont have to worry about it. Favourite thing for this flesh doggo to do is to pat you with his blue arm
•you get free rides on NT. Even if it is in its final form (you know. Breaching wise). Its a funny sight to see
•cant really talk to call you anything, but mostly uses either positive things Nothing There heard or shows affection through actions
Funeral of the Dead Butterflies
•adores your smolness! Definitely calls you "butterfly" because of it
•wants to hold you. He is gentle (like holding a hamburger). Has no problem with helping you to reach for the things you need if you cant reach
•likes to do dances with you, cuddle, put butterflies on your hair
Der Freischütz
•small = fragile = must be protected = cannot touch. Thats the thought process of Der Frei when you actually like each other
•you are not allowed to have his gun. Dont. He will shoot whoever you dont like himself
•"i only had (S/O) for a day and a half, but if anything happens to them, i'll kill everyone in this facility and then myself" - Der Freischütz. Trust me
•gives you nicknames in his native tongue. Like "Sternchen" (little star), "Häschen" (little rabbit)

•dude is old-school af. He does not get the whole fancy thing of couples
•... Not to mention that even if Der Frei knew and you two wanted to do fancy things... You couldnt. Cus you are kinda stuck in the facility. So no travels or massages or something
•Der Freischütz is a gentleman. When he is not busy being edgy shooter. Der Frei is up there with Funeral on how well he treats his lover
•dont tell anyone, but he is a sucker for traditional german snacks (such as pretzels). So bringing them (even if he technically doesnt NEED to eat. Der Frei is. Kinda. A demon) would really flatter our german shooter
•appreciates having you close by his side, makes it look like he can protect you from everything
•Der Freischütz may had shown you few safe magic tricks while you worked with him. You just look so adorable when all Der Frei does is making a small firework on his palm
•if he has to shoot somewhere, first, Der Fei checks if you are in his line of fire. If not magical bullet goes brrr. If yes, he'll let you know that he is shooting where you are, so that you could dodge (he'll tell how, depending on how high up Der Frei has to shoot)
•you are officially friends with Red Mercenary and Funeral. Both tease you two about your relationship abit. But you two still enjoy their company

Hunters' soft side (Little Red Riding Hooded Mercenary + Der Freischütz romantic headcanons)
•both support each other when either of them is down. Since both lost their family, Der Frei and Red Mercenary understand each other very well
•Der Frei needs to remind Red to take care of her scars. He kinda. Doesnt have any skin to worry about anyways
•both love to have a shooting competition. Wether it will be to shoot a target, Wolf, any other Abnormality or an unlucky employee
•both Red and Der Frei are too shy for any affection other then handholdinh. It takes rather a long time for either of them to get comfortable to hug each other
•Funeral of the Dead Butterflies loves to fingerguns them and ";)" cus finally his friends got along
•Der Frei holds Red back from murdering tiny butterfly (oh god save him-)
•they like to hold each other when they sleep together. It helps to make sure that when a nightmare happens, everything is fine and they have each other
•Red Mercenary wonders if Der Frei needs any weapon for a close combat. Maybe her axe? Sword?
•Der Frei is kind of embarrassed that he is a HE but Red is WAW. He isnt weak by any means but its just embarrassing for a shooter like him

Trio of friends (Red Mercenary, Der Frei and Funeral headcanons)
•Butterfly boi is the one who gets in trouble in between these two for jokely teasing either Red or Der Frei about each other. Neither of those take jokes very well so it often results into Funeral running around, sometimes giggling with either of those 2 chasing him
•since both Der Freischütz and Red Mercenary work for money, it will involve shooting their friend. It always amuses Funeral of the Dead Butterflies because he doesnt even know why do they care about boxes. Like... What will they even do with those? Buy something from another Abnormality?
•all three love to chill with each other when nothing happens in the facility. Those moments are rare but nice (i shouldnt be the manager cus every day is a fight to the death day)
•still, all 3 stand up for each other if its needed. Noone is allowed to hurt their friends except for themselves (for money)
•Der Frei and Funeral need to hold Red back if they saw Big Wolf around these times. Noone needs more troubles Red CALM DOWN-
•Der Frei usually stays silent, but can support the chat here and there when he feels like it. Red can talk about what requests she had in the past. Funeral just goes all out when they chat
•we dont talk about Gebura. We all know what she thinks about Abnormalities. And you can probably guess why does the trio avoid her department
•Funeral is the weakest of the 3 and Der Freischütz seems to protect him more then Red. Red is almost always busy either with running after Wolf, training or doing her contracts
•but she still manages to find some free time to spend with the boys. Neither of them are mad at her for this. Hecc, even Der Frei can be asked to shoot somewhere in the middle of the day
•Funeral sends his butterflies to his friends as a little reminder that they are closer then it looks like. Even if they are across the facility, its still not too far
•all 3 care for whoever had fallen in the combat. Life is hard in that facility, but it doesnt mean that these 3 will give up on each other. They take the challenge of surviving really serious

•he told himself that he wont dare to get attached to anyone. Der Fei was sure he could do it

•altho he thought of something bad just as soon as he heard screaming. What happened now? Are you hurt?
•so now Der Frei is gonna leave his room for once to see if something happened
•there are waaaay too many bee-looking like monsters, seems like they got you good
•but Der Frei has his trusty rifle. And bullets. All he needed was some heads to shoot at. Be it bee's or human's
•a quick "get down" was a warning for you to not get into his way. And then he shot. Most bees died, but some still tried to get you and Der Frei
•you crawled away as your friend keeps getting closer to them and while still firing at those pesky bug monsters
•you are hurt, yes, but the very least, breathing. He is sure you will be fine. But a quick visit to a medic will not hurt

•its easier for him to shoot someone he doesnt know so that he didnt feel guilty about it. And also Der Freischütz is in place where deaths can happen on daily basis. Why should he care about someone who can die even on the same day when they meet each other
•and then you showed up on the sence. And Der Frei begins to feel the same way about you like about his family. He .... Loves you
•he has some internal panic because if you die it will probably be for his cursed bullets that kill "anyone you say". And it will reach you eventually
•but... Der Frei remembers one tiny but important thing... He himself is the devil he made the deal with. So he can just put you in a deal to protect you and be free from a curse
•now that is an absolute win: keeping both you and his power with him. Perfect
•and if someone has questions about it or dont agree with? Well, Der Frei has his rifle on him 24/7. You know he can just shoot any competition
•but you also better agree rather quickly... Who knows what kind of devilish power he ACTUALLY has in himself
