Headcanons for a short s/o / favorite employee for any of these: all sephirah, nothing there, funeral of the dead butterflies, and Der Freischütz? And if you want you can put a favorite of yours in it too!

Short gang rise up

But my favourites are mostly Birbs so i'll try to mix it up. Also, because i now do separate sephirahs and abnormalities, i'll do it in 2 parts

Abnormalities with short (S/O)

Big and Will Be Bad Wolf (my fav)

•you remind him of a sheep. You are just smol™

•tries not to bite or scratch you, but sometimes it happens. He is a hungry "evil" wolf

•you are the only employee that can sleep on Wolf and use his fur as a pillow/tail as blanket and live

•calls you "pup, sheep, piggy". If he uses anything but pup, he is hungry and you need to feed Wolf first. Just a heads-up

Nothing There (also my fav)

•to be fair, your size doesnt matter for Nothing There as if it wanted, it would had broken its own bones 20 times to fit in your shell

•but it likes you, so you dont have to worry about it. Favourite thing for this flesh doggo to do is to pat you with his blue arm

•you get free rides on NT. Even if it is in its final form (you know. Breaching wise). Its a funny sight to see

•cant really talk to call you anything, but mostly uses either positive things Nothing There heard or shows affection through actions

Funeral of the Dead Butterflies

•adores your smolness! Definitely calls you "butterfly" because of it

•wants to hold you. He is gentle (like holding a hamburger). Has no problem with helping you to reach for the things you need if you cant reach

•likes to do dances with you, cuddle, put butterflies on your hair

Der Freischütz

•small = fragile = must be protected = cannot touch. Thats the thought process of Der Frei when you actually like each other

•you are not allowed to have his gun. Dont. He will shoot whoever you dont like himself

•"i only had (S/O) for a day and a half, but if anything happens to them, i'll kill everyone in this facility and then myself" - Der Freischütz. Trust me

•gives you nicknames in his native tongue. Like "Sternchen" (little star), "Häschen" (little rabbit)

Abno/aberration oc thing

Hi sharing my (unfinished) LobCorp oc (that I haven’t worked on in quite a bit…) do note that most info about him will/might change in the future when I finalize his design

Idea of my aberration & FOTDB ramble: Basically he’s an aberration of funeral of the dead butterflies known as “mourner of the deceased butterflies”/modb or known as grief in simple terms. I wanted to create an aberration of FOTDB since i did like his character and how he seemed sort of good intentions in “releasing” the employees from their despair within the hellscape of the corporation while accompanied with the metaphors & symbolism of death it made me think for awhile. Until I also stumbled upon FOADB (funeral of a dead butterfly), an aberration from limbus company’s mirror dungeon events. And I noticed quite a pattern? Or atleast their intentions.

TW: MENTIONS OF DEATH AND SUICIDE

Both of them wanted some sort of freedom, either for others or themselves which can be interpreted/said by their descriptions: FOTDB/Funeral of the dead butterflies: “It's stated to be a mourner that had existed to free the employees that could not leave the company, with the hopes of laying them to rest. However, with the employees not even being granted death even when resigning, the objective was unachievable. Now, the Abnormality carries the empty hope that the employees stuck within the facility may return to whence they came, waiting for an end to come.” - Abno origins

FOADB/Funeral of a dying butterfly: According to the wiki, he is most likely based on the Korean "Guwraso", or overworked salaryman. When claimed that many just like it “flew away” after failing to secure the job they applied for. Which soon later reveals to be a metaphor for suicide (referencing death and the afterlife) if the option chose is to confess that it did not pass. - Foadb trivia

So from my understanding (feel free to correct me on any of this because I’m rusty in lobcorp lore) FOTDB: Exists to bring merciful death to employees who couldn’t leave the facility by making/letting them embrace death itself in his clutches FOADB: A living metaphor of succumbing to death after the feeling of failure and hopelessness of failing to secure a future you wanted for yourself in shame (? Not sure on this one)

After seeing this interesting pattern and metaphors & symbolisms tied to death I wanted my aberration to be about forgetting/the loss of childhood, nostalgia, and innocence. He’s basically about the metaphor and symbolisms of returning, remembering what you once were as a child when times were simpler and worries weren’t piling up. In sort of simple terms? MOTDB: Remember where you come from and return

Coming to life/birth: (Lobcorp context): I kinda have an idea that motdb comes from one of the coffins FOTDB gives as a gift (he just…randomly pops out. Probably if the agent isn’t taking care of it/has low sanity) or if an agent corrodes their body grotesquely remorphs into motdb (limbus company context): still thinking about it…

Way of killing: I like to think the way he kills is slightly more gentle and “kinder” compared to FOTDB because if one succumbs to him he’d let them remember their childhood as if adulthood was just a nightmare. And while they’re dazed he’ll basically finger gun them as their body falls into a coffin and the butterflies shuts it close with gentle and care

Design: Since he’s about the metaphors of grieving for your child-self & childhood and making one remember their simple origins with kind intentions I wanted to make him human-like with an optimistic, chatty, and energetic personality..but that might change. I am planning to make him look more like FOTDB though. Dw, his original color pallet is monochromatic with similar butterfly patterns on his suit like him.

Random: I also planned him to be somewhat of a “support” type .. if that exists. But I’ll try to see if it’s possible in canon battle mechanics. Basically he’s able to “revive” an ally with his coffin with them having half a health (similar to Aesop/embalmer’s abilities in idv) — might change. (Thinking about it, if modb was in lobcorp timeline that’s gonna be a pain in the ass)

also he’s either TETH or HE level. I’m not planning to make him menacingly strong but I want to settle on the idea he’s weaker than FOTDB

Please correct me on information if I got them wrong/misinterpreted them. Anyone’s also free to suggest lore/battle mechanics for him (I need oc assistance badly..) all would be appreciated!! Thank you

•personally to him, its nothing special. He had seen such bloody messes for god knows how long he lived. But you just didnt take anything about this.... Massacre well

•it drove you into some kind of panic, but not the one Der Frei could see around with other people. You were just... Crying and trembling. Lots of crying

•takes you in his room because there is nothing to worry about. But something about you shacking in his hold while sobbing your eyes out really made him feel bad that you saw it. It was bad enough already

•to put it lightly.... Der Frei is not the guy you usually go for a comfort. He is bad at it. But he should try to help you at least

•holding you close while whispering into your ear some stories (not bloody ones. You saw one already). It works to make you focus on him, rather than... That

•and when you wish to stay with him longer, he doesnt argue. You can stay and sob until you feel better. But he shot down your panic. So we are back to cuddles

Funeral of the Dead Butterflies

•oh no. It was not good. He feels terrible that people died that way

•and you also have a panic attack from all of that ordeal. But he knows it oh too well. Funeral had met people like that. But... That meeting quickly turned them dead and into butterflies... We are not talking about it

•first of all: get out from this area. And into his room or calm main room if his room is not available for one reason or another

•now, lets get this scary image out of your mind. Lets talk about butterflies flying around you

•sure enough, they get your attention. Some land on you even, as Funeral uses his 5th hand to wipe your tears away

•butterflies simply let you look over them, the fluttering of their wings is nice and gentle, like Funeral's gentle touch

•gentle and smooth. In this "waltz" of butterflies, you can get the shock of death out of your mind to just be in Funeral's embrace
