Each time Mikey was on his own patrolling, they sent him to the safest, most quiet areas. And it just so happened that there were no cool restaurants and no fun shops to check out around here. All there was, were apartment buildings, or maybe a museum or two to watch. Mikey was bored and upset, nothing much happened in the area that he needed to deal with.
Atleast, until he saw a strange blue light glowing from within one of the older apartment blocks, one that was meant to be taken down soon. Looking closer, he realized something strange was going on, because the walls seemed to have been taken down and the windows blocked over with panels, except for one, which he could peer into. It didn’t look like any kind of company had taken over, because the walls were still raw, bricks and all. Inside, there seemed to be large robotic arms, working on...smaller robots? Nuts.
“Found something cool you guys,” He reported to his phone.
“What did you find Mikey..” Donnie mused tiredly.
“Robots making robots..I’m checking it out..”
“Robots making robots?? What? Are you sure? Mikey, just be careful. Don’t get seen! And do not go into any building, Mikey. Your location is the borough of queens which is only apartment-blocks, so it should be pretty safe.”
Mikey grinned. This building was something else than just some apartment block! It had robots. And he loved robots.
Some guys were carrying some large boxes in through the backdoor, and he decided to get into one of those boxes in order to break in. It was a little hard to break the boxes open, but eventually he could get in, and allowed the workers to transport himself in through the door unseen.
