A minimalist derby nerd tattoo for the all-around amazing Hooks, who also adopted my... very enthusiastic fox (which started as a silly filler doodle on a wannado sheet last year, not meant to end up as a tattoo at all).😂

Thank you for all the laughter and strawberries and most of all for putting on fresh socks, which is a pleasant touch I always appreciate - especially with you ridiculously stinky derby folk!😜😘

PS: I may or may not plan on making lovably weird fox stickers...

Second day of uni with a whole free day, so I do the roller derby test'o'matic 6 times until I get a pass, watch 2 different ref hand signal videos and read the entire rule book (yes, whole thing, front to back for the first time ever) and did my rules test via email.

Now the nail-biting wait to see if I can officially come home to play on the 5th!

WFTDA REGIONALS!

Watching the archives right now, and feeling truly inspired.

Sat here taking notes, like the massive derby nerd that I am. The London Rollergirls vs Philly bout was awesome. Stefanie Mainey and Kamikaze Kitten will forever be my heroes/derby crushes. Watching Oly and Rose City now... the difference in strategies between these two bouts are fascinating. I need to watch some Gotham, and some Rocky Mountain... and argh, all the bouts!
