Another hypothetical set-up for a Jimmy Woo standalone series:

Plot: FBI agent Jimmy Woo goes on the hunt for a dangerous rogue spy / international terrorist, codenamed “Yellow Claw”. During his search for Claw, Woo is recruited by a spy agency known as “Atlas”, comprised of former S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who went underground after the events of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”.

Main Cast:

1) Randall Park reprises his role as Jimmy Woo

2) Simu Liu reprises his role as Shang-Chi. In the series, he acts as the deuteragonist by being Woo’s second-in-command and best friend. 

3) Kat Dennings reprises her role as Darcy Lewis. She is the tritagonist. 

4) Steven Yeun plays our main antagonist / Jimmy’s arch-nemesis, the “Yellow Claw”. This version of the Yellow Claw is very different from the comic book counterpart.

5) Ali Wong plays Suwan, the secondary antagonist-turned-supporting protagonist/main love interest. She is Yellow Claw’s top assassin who later switches sides when she falls in love with Jimmy Woo. Basically, she and Jimmy go from being enemies to friends to lovers. 

6) Claudia Kim reprises her role as Helen Cho. She is an agent of Atlas and introduces her son, Amadeus, to Jimmy Woo.

7) I don’t have an actor in mind but Amadeus Cho appears in the main cast. 

8) Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays Derek Khanata, a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and the director of Atlas. (NOTE: Yes, I know he’s Algrim in Thor 2. I thought it was fine he got another role since he was a minor character in that movie).

Who are the Agents of Atlas?

They’re a group of six 50s comic book characters from a predecessor of Marvel Comics called Atlas comics. You may recognize Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp, he’s literally nothing like that in the comics so to do some damage control here’s some of his more modern appearances! 

If you want to purchase all their comics, Agents of Atlas: The Complete Collection Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 are both on sale, and it has this plus more comics that I didn’t include.
