Okay I’m almost 6 feet tall (5’9”) and have the personality of this: >:3 I love drawing and books and over analyzing my feelings, don’t like small dogs or people brushing off things I say (even if I said something goofy offhandedly) like I will dislike them to the extreme,,, don’t like high pitched noises. S/O wise do we get to request the fandom cuz if so markiplier? But also since it’s your opinion I’m okay with whatever

While most would think your personalities would clash rather violently, you and Eric make it work. You easily contrast Eric’s quiet, anxious disposition, but you two share similar qualities and dislikes, so you guys clicked quickly. He was drawn to you and surprisingly enough, found the courage to approach you first. Granted, he nearly passed out mid-sentence, but it’s the thought that counts, right?
He listens to absolutely every word that comes out from your mouth. You have so many things to say and you speak with such grace and elegance that he can’t help but listen! You don’t fumble over your words—at least not too often—and you tell such interesting stories. Even if it’s as simple as what you did that day, he enjoys listening to you.
Eric also despises loud, sudden noises, especially high-pitched ones. They grate on his ears and often send him into a panic attack. But since he came to know you, his anxiety and nerves have been under some control and he’s actually calmer and even more confident around you. You’ve definitely rubbed off on him.
You like books? You can bet your mother’s pearls that Eric adores reading as well. He has a rather large selection of what he dubs “comfort books,” ones that he always relies upon for calming, comforting vibes that he can always lose himself in. If you want to borrow one or two, he’s more than willing to share. You two often swap books, only to regroup and gush about them. While Eric may be more reserved most of the time, books definitely get him going and he loves to talk about them. So prepare yourself to get your ears talked off.
If you’re having a hard time, especially with over analyzing your feelings, you know Eric is always willing to sit with you and offer a shoulder to lean on. He’ll stutter and whisper comforting, encouraging words to you, hoping to make you feel better. If you want to cuddle, he’s down for it, and he’ll usually lay down and pull you into his side. If it helps, he’ll let you listen to his heartbeat in order to calm you down. But whatever method he uses to calm you down, know he’s always there for you. He’s your number one fan and he loves you a whole lot.
Halloween is one of Eric’s least favorite times of year. All the scary movies, creepy costumes, and those mean kids ding-dong ditching your home get him all riled up and anxious. He’ll usually pull out his handkerchief frequently during October, and especially in the days leading up to the “dreaded” holiday. It takes your gentle coaxing to get him out of his room and to enjoy some sweet treats. If he’s brave enough, he’ll relent to some pumpkin carving and watching a few Disney Halloween films, like The Haunted Mansion, but that’s about it for this man.
Eric is actually quite fond of animals. He loves dogs and cats and doesn’t mind little dogs. Unless they’re little yippers. Then he absolutely abhors them. Their constant high-pitched barking will often startle him and he does not like them. Surprisingly enough, he actually likes big dogs. Huskies, golden labs, you name it, he’ll easily let them lick his face while he pets them. Eric says that animals calm him down; they seem to have an understanding of his anxiety and always get him to smile.
He loves to bake. It’s one of his few outlets that he’s deemed safe and easy enough for him to handle. Eric doesn’t do much cooking, so take-out is your standard meal, but dessert is all him. Cakes, brownies, cookies, pastries, you name it. He’s a connoisseur of sweet treats and you are fortunate enough to get to taste test all of his newest endeavors. Lucky you!
