"I've only had two people see me, and I can't really explain how they did see me. Don't worry, babe, they'll see you eventually." He gave her an encouraging smile.
"You really think I can become visible to humans!" She said excitedly. Her eyes widened when she heard the word ‘babe’. She looked at Derek but flashes over her past flooded her mind. Instead of seeing Derek she saw Trent. She put her hands on her head, why was she remembering him now?
Derek shrugged his shoulders, frowning some. "I don't really know how to talk to them. Some see us, most don't, it's tricky. You just have to find the ones who can see you, I guess."
Flora frowned she had already been around her little sister before. And she had not seen her at all in fact walked right threw her once. “Ah, I see." Flora said trying to smile. ‘I need to get better at this ghost stuff’ she thought.
"I don't think I've gotten the pleasure of working with you," he chuckled, smiling at her. "And yeah, not to brag, but my movies were really big when they came out, so it's a possibility." Derek frowned at her question, tilting his head. "What do you mean? Of course I want to talk to you, I'd be stupid not to. All those other ghosts are probably to self focused to care for a pretty girl like you."
"Well it sure doesn’t sound like you’re bragging…" Flora said sarcastically. "…mister superstar," she smiled. “Oh! I don’t think they’re too self focused maybe I’m just too depressing for them. It’s just strange you know being a ghost and all," she frowned. “I can’t even phase through walls or fly, I’m lame I know. But I do want to know how do you talk to humans?" The word felt weird to say but she wasn’t human anymore after all.
