I would have loved to have seen Guillermo del Toro’s version of The Hobbit instead. I don’t care about “continuity” from the LOTR Jackson films. I think it would have been amazing to see. And poor Jackson didn’t really want to direct the three Hobbit films anyway. He just did it because he had to.

Random question: what did you want to be when you were a kid? Did it change a lot over time?

*hugs back* thanks for the ask! I went through a phase of wanting to be a vet. I think every kid from my generation at one point or another wanted to be either a vet or an astronaut. Then when I got a bit older I wanted to be an artist (a paid one, that is. Technically I was an artist as soon as I could pick up a pencil and scrawl on something). I am now a paid artist and it only took me 37 years. :P Before freelance illustration I was a: data entry assistant, retail assistant, waitress, course administrator, transcriber, medical secretery, museum curator (natural history). lol damn.
