I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Gabriel and Desadia... but this is like... pretty much his last hurrah before he gets rakes across the coals in a future book, which is a REAL shame...

Is there a name for this like... widows peak/devil lock look that Desadia is rocking right here? It is a look I super dig... oh also meet Gabriel the Demon Hunter I guess... whatever he’s not important.
All the others gave up all they were to pass into heaven.... but this last one doesn't want to go to heaven if she has to give up everything... and so she lets go.
And we have some more Gabriel stuff... where we learn this really is Desadia, not a hallucination which is very confusing because we have no idea why she is acting this way since before this book the last time we saw her she would do anything for Gabriel... and we actually won't ever properly find out cause this is her last appearance... a real waste.
I said this the last run of the book too I think, but they are really rolling Gabriel around in the dirt and glass in this book, which is a real shame... he was such a fun character in his first appearances, and we don't need another sad sack in this book but here we are...
Man Gabe has really fallen on some hard times.. Desadia still looks great though... and this whole “demonic presidential candidate” just kinda feels different now a days for some reason?
Hey, I think this might be the first appearance of Gabriel in the non-magazine books. Desadia as well.
