When word travelled about something amiss at The Inn, Sara quickly got to work. She asked around for information on what had transpired, and it didn't take her long to get directions and head on her way. From what she was told, there were people trapped at this inn who found themselves in danger. As to what that danger was, the answers were less clear. What was made clear was that people were in need, and it was her duty to go help them.
This was how the general found herself at the inn's doorstep. Sara could near nothing from the outside, and as she turned the knob to let herself in, she was met with more silence. Or so she thought until the door closed behind her.
"Why are you here?" The question was uttered in such a soft tone that Sara nearly missed it. Turning to her side, the general peered down to spot a small child who looked eerily familiar and left the feathers in her wings standing on end.
"...I should be asking you that," she said, her tone just as soft as the childlike version of herself peered up at her.
"You know what Takayuki-sama said; we need to focus on our training, not playing around with others."
"This isn't playing; there are people in danger, and as tengu warriors it is our job to protect them."
"Is it? They are not from Inazuma, and they are human. Do they deserve our protection when it interferes with our training?"
"Even if they're not of our ilk, we still cannot turn away from their suffering. We must help however we can."
The child shot her a suspicious look, bot nonetheless followed after her as Sara made her way deeper into the inn. Little did either of them know that they would soon be greeted with a familiar face.
