A DOLLMAKER IS SOMETHING NEW TO HER, though not completely unheard of when it came to the world of artistry. it was an artistic view that so few dabble in when it came to the myriad of choice, drawing the slightest bit of curiosity forth. and yet that is hardly what fully captures her attention amidst this all. words which he aims her way brim with a previously unseen passion, not to be taken lightly in her eyes. her gaze lifts once more to linger upon him, this time to meet his gaze in a more direct fashion. ❝ A painting is not so different from that of a doll as one might think, ❞ she speaks, her tone carrying that same, stoic tune, yet not so brash as her rambles prior.
not when it comes from her own flow of ink, nor those who can grasp an understanding of art in its purest form, though it is not as if he knows of her own, unique capabilities. so, as if to demonstrate, she lifts brush dabbed in ink, a swift swing of her hand that a palm-sized, yanese styled doll is brought into the world, plopping gently down into her awaiting hand, holding it out for him to take and inspect if he were so inclined.
❝ ... who is right. Who is wrong. When one thinks it as so, one can argue 'til the daylight fades to naught but darkness. ❞ it is briefly reminiscent of those freelings she had once overheard in passing, ones whom pondered their own existence and which emotion had borne them from the very artist, herself, who had breathed life into their very being on a mere whim. ❝ But what is at hand is the feeling of the creation, come end. Assumption or not. No? ❞ that is how she sees it, at least, one to acknowledge the faults of so many without fully perceiving her own come times. ❝ A creation should not be chained to the repute of its creator if it does not wish it so. Simply because it is birthed of their hand, that does not mean it is beholden to their every whim. ❞ again, those of her spirits come to mind, brought forth through intense emotion during a session. oft she would allow them to do as they please, to roam the painting of their origin or to find another, more suited home, so long as they did not cause issue for the people.
she pauses for but a moment, a thought coming to mind as if to compare her meaning.
❝ ... tell me. In this meeting, from what little we have spoken, would you deem me 'evil'? ❞ pointedly strange, the question one that seems to have no reasoning beyond whatever she has in mind upon any answer he wishes to give.
